Maannn, KG played on some mediocre to bad rosters. Also, the league took away 5 draft picks from Wolves. The West was so deep in the 90's to mid 00's. Sheed, Webb, Tim, Dirk, Kobe, Shaq rosters were just deeper.
Good all around battle by the Timberwolves and Spurs. Seeing Tim Duncan slam the ball down and showcase his skills from in the paint is just so great to watch. David Robinson was a non factor and still in those days San Antonio had one of the best teams. Very proud of Rose's defense on Garnett too. Kevin Garnett has always been a tough cover for anybody because of his length, height and athleticism advantage on floor. The way Kevin carries himself I'm surprised Minnesota didn't have at least one championship title. And Sam Mitchell got his shot blocked very bad. Danny Ferry making threes and Avery Johnson one of the best point guards Spurs have ever had is cool. Even when Terry Porter left Timberwolves he became a solid shooter for these Spurs. Terry himself, Malik Rose, Derek Anderson and Steve Kerr that is just crazy. I'm really surprised we didn't get to see Blazers with Pippen play against Steve Smith's Spurs. I also enjoy watching Rasho Nesterovic for Timberwolves too. He was easily Wolves second or third best player. Along with Terrell Brandon and Wally Szczerbiak
