In a generation where most championshiships are won by two all star or all nba players,it's important to remember that Kawahi won a chip in Toronto without another superstar.
The Toronto team was very good before kawhi was added to the roster and had lots of stars and good role players. Marc gasol , Kyle Lowry and pascal siakam , Fred vanvleet were all stars during there careers , serge ibaka, og anunoby , Norman Powell and Danny green were all very good players also
Derrick White is good and all but there’s way better players out there that could have taken that spot unless they don’t wanna play, shoot Jalen Brown would’ve been nice
@@reasedogable but they did make a good point about there being a lot of ball dominant players on the team already so Derrick is used to not having a lot of touches so it’s actually a better fit

Kwahi Leonard may have chronic arthritis in both knees. It could be the same issue that ended a few optimistic careers. Think about his career since being traded from the Spurs. He has never played back to back games. Sometimes it has taken several games for him to get back in action. He will not play if he doesn’t feel 100%. Chronic arthritis will come after physical exertion, like playing basketball games. He’s older now and the situation will not get better it will get progressively worse until he hangs it up. Great career but it’s over. He may have a game here and there but basically the Raptors and Spurs Kwahi is a thing of the past.
DWhite is the right addition. TeamUSA needed more 2-way guards, no question. Can play alongside Steph, Book, Tyrese (and obviously Jrue) and take the point of attack. Way better roster fit for the style of the international game.

Smh, everyone has goals and ambition to forcefully deny him from attaining a medal in Olympics which is one thing most athletes wish they can do is failure. On Clippers part I understand they're spending their money. But fans and other people who have no stake, other than wanting to see your team win, are crazy to me. @@reasedogable PG played 74 games last season what are you talking about also the team can also not afford to give up size. PG is almost 6”10 whereas White is 6”4 with Drue, Curry, etc on the shorter side. PG would have definitely been a better choice and so would Jaylen Brown. They might have said no.
