The life lessons she has learned from her dedication and tenacity to her sport will make her a success in the future. To me, that makes here a true role model. I love the fact that she is willing to give her all each and every race. I pure pleasure to watch an athlete of her caliber do what she loves..
Until I read the comments I didn't think much about it, but yes, Miss Katelyn Tuohy is a super role model for the young women of our nation. Thank you, Katelyn.
I like the other day at the race and here now she doesn't need 40 gallons of makeup for every little hair doesn't need to be in place On the other hand the competitor of hers the other day that she passed had 40 gallons of makeup on it every little hair has to be in place She seems very down the Earth and just does her thing and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that
@@brennakayali6790 yeah I don't want somebody walking around in clown makeup being a role model that's called being fake you got to put a mask on to be a role model come on out not much of a role model
Impressive young lady, I really enjoyed watching katelyn and parker valby giving it thier all out on the course. Not often have I taken notice to whats happening in track and field jackie joyner kersey, Edwin moses and florence joyner have been the most impressive that Ive taken notice of in my 63 years of life and now add katelyn to that list
I've been watching Katelyn on RU-vid since her senior year of high school in New York. Brilliant stuff. Especially impressive was her working to recover from injuries early in her college career. The persistence, talent, courage, character . . . All captivating.
Katelyn is my absolute fave runner male or female….she kicks ass and is as much strong mind determination as she is physically super gifted!!!! Can’t wait to see what’s next for her!!!! 👍⭐️🌟
She too is an inspiration. I am super impressed by watching as all of the ladies. They are really giving it their all. I really do not know how they do it along with their studies.
my katelyn is such a dream... god-bless her.... can't wait to see what she does with team adidas... such a beauty... no matter what angle you shine a light on her, she is solid gold.... such a inspiration & a running angel.... best wishes & kindest regards to this diamond in the rust.... after all... she left some pretty impressive foot-prints in 2022 & 2023 in all the invitationals & championships.... & you can't erase that or cyber-bullly that away son....
As far as the team goes, Katelynn is the mother tiger protecting her cubs. She can't do it all, all of the time, but she sure is close to it. I feel sorry for her having to feel obligated to do all of these interviews. She can handle it, but she needs some "me" time too, and it seems no one is thinking about that. I love seeing Katelynn doing her thing, whether racing or interviewing, but when are her teammates going to start to protect their most valuable asset. Katelynn knows this, but she is a trooper. But get some rest mentally and physically, and you won't have these little "burp" races ruining your day. Keep On keeping on, Katelyn, because I love you for it. Frank Vaiden U of KY, Lexington. P.S. Don't be afraid to say "No"! I have totally screwed up my "Instagram". I am so bad with computers.
So many people relied on her so we could share in her joy in coming in first. Her recent loss was big. We need a hero like her to reduce the sting off from the current political environment. I am old, and I apologize for this comparison, but your runs are like the races of famous horse Secretariat. The country needed a hero to give the citizens a lift. President Nixon was being impeached, so your wins were like that so many people. Good luck.😊😊
I know KT is a dedicated athlete, which means she gives up her personal time but I wonder just how much of her personal time she does give up. Does she date? Does she go home for the holidays? Things like that. I know even with all her talent she must work very hard to be the best. I’ve followed her a long time now. I admire her accomplishments. You go girl. Haha.
She reminds me so much of a young Shailene Woodley. What a talent Katelyn is for NC State! Congratulations to her and all of her team for bringing it home again!
Katelyn, as a general sports fan, I started watching you run while you were in high school and have always been impressed with you as an athlete and more importantly a person with high character. Your team focus is genuine and this was a great win for all of you. Good luck to you and the team going forward.
Reporter: "Can you take me through your thought process that last kilometer and what that was like?" K: 'Can I take this 2x4 and smash it upside your head a couple of times so you can experience it?' Makes one wonder if in journalism school, they were taught to ask such asinine questions? Certainly watching Bull Durham gave you all the right answers.
I have no idea why her channel was recommended to me years back.. im more of a squash and badminton person... But im glad it was... And always hope for the best
Eastern Africans or others did more than this, and nobody talk about them. Mercy Chelangat or Kelati had a better record than this, so why you do not even care. Funny journalists and media!
WTF are you even talking about? This isn’t about her. Mercy Chelangat is a strong 10,000m runner and the defending NCAA Champion in that event. Chelangat also won the NCAA XC individual championship on this same course two seasons ago, set the old course record during that race, and then broke her own record by almost 3 seconds 2 weeks ago. One problem is that Chelangat finished a disappointing 16th and almost 20 women broke the course record. Another problem is that Katelyn Tuohy broke Mercy’s course record by 33 seconds. Tuohy is a 4X National Champion and a 7X All-American in 1 1/2 healthy seasons. One day, you’ll get it after they both turn pro.
