That gasp at the end when you saw the double laser….that’s the feeling that I want when I play games

Still not tired of the genre. I find this trend of games to be the perfect 10-20 minutes play session I am looking for these days between work and life responsibilities.

The strange relief of seeing this channel alive and breathing is a little indescribable. I'm glad you've been able see continued success since the old days of geology nerding in Subnautica. Even after several years, I've still retained some memories of your old Banner Saga videos or the Stardew Valley series. Best of wishes for the future as well!

I'm noticing that the static discharges power up before firing which means they target an enemy, wait some time then fires at that enemy or where that enemy would be if it wasn't destroyed prior to discharge. This would explain why that weapon "misses" most of the time, their target was already eliminated and why it hits more often when encountering swarms.

Start of video: Ooh, looks nice! Middle of video: This looks intense.. End of video: I'm not going to do this to myself, I'm in my 40s - I've got my blood pressure to think of, dammit 0_0

At 37:26 there are two "unlocked" recipes for evolved weapon versions: Freezing Laser + Regular Laser = Double Laser Freezing Turret(?) + Regular Turret = Double Gun

"They make me happy deepside and down." is my new catch phrase.

You forgot the Nadesico option: You think you're fighting aliens, until about half-way through you learn that they're really humans with some pretty legitimate grievances about what Earth's governments had done to them and you've been lied to this whole time by your superiors some of whom might just be the real bad guys in this whole conflict.

Getting in early on these recently, looking awesome!

Hey Splatty have you checked in on Star Survivor recently? They've completely revamped the play loop into an FTL-style campaign model and added a few really clutch improvements, you should check into it if you get time. Cheers man, Happy New Year!

"accuracy by volume" like a M 134D-T

Just took a second look so the below isn't accurate. The reload buff says -.25s, so it's even harder to figure out because each one has a different reload cycle. Still probably a really good upgrade though! I hate (this is a lie) to be the math nerd here, but a 25% decrease in reload time doesn't translate to a 25% increase in dps. It's closer to 33% If you go 80 miles in 80 minutes, that's 60 mph. If you reduce the time by 25%, from 80 to 60, it's now 80 miles in 60 minutes, or 80mph Going from 60mph to 80mph is a 33% increase in speed. For a more extreme example, imagine a buff that is a 99% reduction in reload time. Instead of shooting once per second, you'd be shooting 100 times per second. That's a lot more than a 99% increase to dps!

An autobattler rouglike but with isometric perspective and with bit more better graphics and mehanic like this: you start with like fighter/bomber, and then as you lvl up, you upgrade it (just like any autobattler rougelike, ofc) and as you upgrade it it goes to corvette, cruiser, battleship, dreadnought. so in the end you have a massive ships with tons of lasers, photon torps, missles, fighter/bomber bays ect ect... also to add shields, cloaking devices, force fields, blink/warp modules (for short map jumps) ect ect... or same game like that but with mechs on ground, would be even more awesome. starting with some small light mech and then in the end having epic mega mech. also mech game could have different maps (jungle, arctic, desert ect... and even maps on different planets for amazing variety). :)))

You should look back into Spellbook Demonslayer when you get the chance. It plays quite different, now.

Noticed you waste a lot of the free level ups by grabbing them, when you're already just an inch away from leveling anyways. Just wait a few second more, level up naturally, then grab the free ones.

you should get the enemies explode one so that killing one clears a pack

It has the same shrine gimmick as Spellbook Demonslayers, but the complete lack of creativity in the graphics/weapons (just different colors of lasers) make this a hard buy

Hey Developers, instead of the 50th survivor clone game, why don't you combine shorter survivor levels with a branching tree and narrative path like FTL that shows possible loot drops from bosses so you can fight on a bunch of different backgrounds with different level effects and kind of pre-plan what kind of build you want to go for. k thanks bye.

plays like Run, Build, Pew indie game, but that one is much faster pace and seems to have much more to offer. I'll stick with that one over this slower paced game.

Another totally unique and never seen before indie game! Yay! Really wish indie games would evolve beyond copy/pasting the latest trend.

This is just another Rogue-lite Arena Hoard Survival game like Vampire Survivors and literally a 100 others at this point... Very few evolve the play mechanics or add anything new at all...most are just watered down copies... To be fair, there is a reason the genre is exploding the way it is...just not so sure its a good reason.
