Also, wasnt bothered about lots of the hangers on until you started the series and realising that they are a cheap body with some often handy gear and an ability has made me think I want to get some resin. Also, they add some extra variety and personality which is nice.

If you are considering getting the Fixer just for the Fixer skill, I'd say you're better off hiring a Chem dealer first (especially Goliaths that can get him for 25 creds). As you mentioned his other special rule is relevant mainly in Law & Misrule campaigns, especially because there you run the risk of having your legal alignment changed each game (depending on Intrigues played or usage of Illegal items) and if that happens (change from law abiding to Outlawed or vice versa), you lose 3 Reputation and all your hanger-ons leave your gang, so the Fixer becomes an insurance against that (you'd lose him anyway if you became Outlawed, so might as well 'sacrifice' the Fixer and keep the other hanger ons and Rep). Also if you play with alliances, the Fixer allows you to ensure you'll pass the first 2-3 Alliance tests you're required to make during a campaign, meaning in the early stages of a campaign you can 'ignore' some Alliance drawbacks, without risking breaking the alliance; this works particularly well with the Iron guild alliance, where you can 'Push the alliance' to increase the discounts on Ranged weapons to D3x20 creds (instead of D3x10) to get a whole bunch of cheap Bolters, Combat shotguns and special weapons after the first and/or 2nd game of the campaign (after you've armed your entire gang, you don't really care anymore about keeping the alliance). The point is, Chem Dealers are 75 creds,( not Goliath, yep, that's true) and Chems tend to be quite expensive, so, all thing considered, if you are short on credits and need money ASAP, a Fixer is a better choice in the short term. If you ally yourself with House Catallus (or the other one, i don't remember the names, right now) you can gain another 2d6x10 creds and give them nothing with his special rule. Both equally viable, it really depends on your situation and intention.
@@marcozanin9494 Fair point (I forgot Chem dealer is 75 rather than 50 creds for other gangs); about the Creds from alliance, you probably had in mind House Ulanti, Guild of Coin and possibly Imperial house alliances (collect Income/Boons from a chosen territory twice per cycle). Cheers! :)
Maybe something going over in a clear and structured way what alliances are, what they are good for, how to arbitrate them and implement them. And then maybe a few episodes looking at the alliances in detail. Tbh I would prefer longer form videos from you so I can play them in the background as I do stuff without having to look for something else to watch quickly. If you did two or three alliances each time you did a vid on them maybe grouped them in a sensible way and added in a sense of how to use, implement and Any experience or things you know about cool things you can do with them, the bad things you should avoid and a sense of why they are flavourful and exciting that would all be nice as this is sort of part of a hype train for my own games and feeds my hobby interest.
Been loving your vids since watching you and miniature rundown completely shelved my 40k and gone full speed Necromunda you make it a lot easier to understand would love to see you play or stream some games in the near future if possible ❤
I hired a Fixer and a Prize Fighter with my Orlocks in one of the last campaigns in which, God only knows why, i lost most of my games, and these two hanger-ons saved my butt by providing me a constant credit flux, since i rarely got mission rewards. Get a Fixer and a Chem dealer (after a Rogue doc) and you'll be fine. EDIT Also worth mentioning that i had my Road Captain with Fixer, so 2 Fixers + Prize Fighter = caching! $$
Please revisit alliances. Also wanted to know as an arbitrator, would you consider 'free slotting' certain hanger-ons as some are more obviously better than others and it makes campaigns have the same buying structure.
