Every NFS did one thing better than all others, but for Carbon, it was the menu. This music made me feel like such a baller as I was buying new car parts.

I just realized that even if you do not like the game, soundtrack makes you wanna play.

I was like 12 when I played this game. Not having a memory card I’d complete the game in under 5 hours during summer. Every day getting better until I could beat every boss except for Darius with a stock camero. Good times. Now this is part of my playlist child hood playlist. Hopefully this game gets a remaster.

If they ever play this at a club as a joke or meme i would actually cry this menu music was my childhood....I grew up poor and for the longest time I only had two PS2 games this and GT4 and both games I probably logged like 2k hours each....I got carbon for Christmas from my dad and it was the best gift ever

back after playing this game for the first time 14 years ago. This game is magnificent, even though it was far from finished when it was first released in 2006, with a lot of content they cut, it still has its own character. I'm sure if this game were given another year of development and polishing, I'm 100% sure, no doubt it would be the best game in the entire Need For Speed ​​series.

Dam coming off Most Wanted I struggled with carbon but the night aesthetic and music was good. This takes me back

I dont know there was something mystical and unique surrounding this game... the music, the dark atmosphere in the city, the cargang wars with the dark canyon races.... no compare to the newer NFS games in terms of Artwork, Design and Atmosphere.

I still remember when i beat the game for the first time . I had to win a carbon canyon race i guess after beating darius if i remember correctly . I was playing on my parents' tv and my father kept asking me to let him watch a cricket match or something and i kept asking him to wait and wait because after i beat final race , i had to run to a safe house to save it . Good days .
