ItsPlatel I remember the days people bragged about how The Crew 2 would totaly beat this game in *everything* . Wow, they were right.... a little. In overall the game (TC2) is better but it's mostly opinion based ofcource, but in terms of most of the actual quality there are somethings the crew couldn't pass with compared to NFS.
@@itsjoeboi9649 then you're fucking blind...you're just a fanboy that can't even buy a forza horizon 4 game...that's why you said that...you're such a looser...do you know about the lighting...it will make the game looks realistic like forza horizon 4...you're just a fucking fanboy...you couldn't even see how good forza horizon is...
Go to your TV settings and change the brightness and then turn the brightness game up to it may not look good depending on your TV because of every TV is different I have a smart TV soI turned the color all the way up in the brightness and it looks great
Bro what? Night time is extremely light! Honestly if you think that night in the crew 2 is super dark then you shouldn’t play any game that has a day-night cycle
Most in-depth technical comparison I've ever seen. Very well done! I think I'm going to get both games though. NFS just looks cool for the fact that the campaign is like playing through a F&F movie.
I have both games and are great but need for speed have edge in terms of graphics, damage model and the campaign. The crew 2 is more of quantity, map, variety, because you have the option to choose different types of vehicles.
Jose Colon if you put Forza graphics or even NFS graphics in TC2 the game would be a ridiculous size, FH3’s goliath circuit race is only 10 minutes long while an east to west race in TC2 is around 36 min. And forza is about 60GB. Im happy for that sacrifice
The Mustang finish doesn't look better in The Crew 2, Payback lets you adjust how metalized the finish is so you can easily make it look like in The Crew 2 if you want. In fact they seem to have implemented a portion of Frostbite's material editor into the game, letting you create virtually any finish you want. Also Payback uses screen space reflections for the car surface, whereas The Crew 2 uses parallax like in Watch_Dogs. In terms of audio The Crew 2 wins by far. The audio is not only a lot better in The Crew 2 but Payback has a lot of audio problems on PC, probably due to uncompressed sound files. Sticking to visuals though I'd say Payback looks better overall, The Crew 2 can't even compete with it's own predecessor let alone the physics based graphics of Frostbite. However the world of The Crew 2 is superior by far, Payback has waaaaaay too many areas that are locked off by resets or invisible walls, not to mention no weather effects which is pretty pathetic for a 2017 game, even if it does take place in the desert.
the audio on payback is weird because of how they fake rpm and gears and all that. the actual sound samples are top notch but their usage in game is terrible. the crew 2 of all things actually has better emulation of the workings of the car than payback :V
Speedyheart I dunno, but it depends on the car IMO. Payback has some slight inaccuracies but they have better usage in some ways: -Backfire sound differs for each car and acts in different ways as well (I like the BOOM of the backfire in The Crew 2 but it sometimes is too OTT) -Gears sound quickly changing for supercars in Payback, whereas The Crew 2 has this weird shifting sound that seems like even the fastest of cars take forever to shift -Better collision sounds
When the new car pack was added to NFS Payback, the people that developed the car sound literally just took the sound files from cars already in the game and used those for the new cars...
FastBoi Except for the Range Rover. Sounds very meaty Though to be fair at least the sound sharing of cars is minimal in NFS and isn't as intrusive as TC2 unless your favorite vehicles somehow share engine sounds
Crew 2 has lighting issues. Along with low rez things in general. Needs more brighter colors along with more saturated ones. At night though it looks amazing along with the afternoon when the sun is going down. They nailed the water physics and the sky quality. Oh and also when it rains and its night i love how the lights and everything bounce off the water. It looks so good. All its missing is more players in its servers, pvp online and more attention to small details like reflections and sound. I hope that they delete that wobbly gear change which sounds like ass along with the gunfire backfire. Hopefully NFS Or Crew will up their game next game. I am excited to see what they have planned out for the next game.
J'ai beaucoup aimé ta vidéo car elle prend tous les points importants entre ces deux jeux y compris la comparaison du son des moteurs (très importent selon moi pour un jeu de voiture) Bravo 👍👍
I know you've already made "The Crew WR vs The Crew 2", but how about another video with deeper analysis on the environments? I'd like to see a direct comparison between famous cities such as NY, Miami, San Francisco etc... between the 2 games, with the same point of view.
Ubisoft may not be as greedy as EA but lacks the general quality and beauty provided by most games. Downgrading is like a package deal that comes with Ubisoft nowadays. That's the thing I hate the most about Ubisoft.
so true lol, those who say downgrades are just stereotypical Ubi haters, I agree Ubi is not the best and they mess up sometimes, but after division, I haven't seen any downgrades
If the crew 2 will have graphics like in other games, the game will be impossible to optimize for its huge map and everybody will be like: OMGGGGGG ANOTHER UBI GAME THAT IS BAD OPTIMISED!!!. Ubisoft kept their promises for 2 years to present (srry for my bad english)
Or you are being such obsessed fanboy that you have forgotten the meaning of 'downgrading'. I'll say it for you AC Origins. Yes I've played most recent games published by Ubisoft. AND YES. Games are supposed to look exactly as the gameplay footage or gameplay trailer. If you think otherwise then you can pleasure yourself with whatever invalid arguments you can gather. You will stay in misconception.
Nah, not being a fanboy, as I already said Ubi do mess shit up, no denying that, if I was being a fanboy, I would've only raised heavens in the name of Ubi, and talking about misconception no one here is staying in it more than you yourself, you say AC origins was downgraded? The actual game at the time of release was not at all downgraded, a certain patch messed it up (Like I previously said that they do mess up the games). Witcher 3 was also downgraded but no one talks about it coz you guys live in a misconception where you reject games even before thoroughly playing it just by looking at the devs, and before Witcher 3 fanboys get mad, Witcher 3 is my most favorite game ever but you cannot deny the facts.
Will Ubisoft release future updates to improve the lightning and refine its textures? Ive heard they are really responsive to what their audience wants, so is it possible we may see these changes soon?
Ivory Tower has done a good job on listening to what the players want after The Crew 1 was released. So yes, there's a chance the graphics will be improved.
TC2 has better sound weather and lighting in my opinion I feel that the reflections are mad better as well. And I can understand why tc2 features would be up to par with other racing games because they’re not the same the crew focus more on missions/story when a lot of racing games dont.
The Crew 2 has better sound than Need For Speed PayBack because 1. Volumetric Sound effect 2. Reverberating Car sound 3. Realistic Tyre Screeching sound 4. Rev Bombs Sounds (awesome)
Crew 2 is probably going to win as it's newer and it's Ubisoft, but need for speed Payback will do amazingly well. Maybe even better than crew 2. Sound is definitely crew 2
Yeah definitely the coyote V8 in the mustang sounds amazing in the crew 2 and if you drive older muscle cars fast you can hear the suspension rattle a bit and it sounds very realistic. And it has the awesome backfire which isn’t realistic but it’s cool.
I prefer sound design from The Crew 2. Also, if you are looking for better lighting effects, try either driving while there is Fog or Rain. Both are very impressive looking.
How about we try comparing the successor to the predecessor before comparing it outside? No joke. TC¹ looks better than TC² which deadass weird and disappointing.
Ikr TC1, especially the wild run edition was freaking awesome in terms of graphics, TC2 looks UN realistic and with planes and stuff it's just kinda weird idk.....nfs payback is just bomb tho
The Crew 2 would win for me if THE DRIFTING AND PHYSICS WERE GOOD (Really, I think Ubisoft can do better on the drifting, and I don't care about boats and planes)
@@skull20002000 people say Payback's tunning is bad but I like the way how it is but The Crew 2 tunning is better because you don't have to pay anything
@@hiroshikitsun7585 I just wish it was more detailed. But the hotshot update is said to have a new feature that is previously not in the game. I want to tune and build my cars. Not throwing on universal parts/upgrades.
You know you can tune your cars in the f9 Pro setting in your performance right? (for computer users) I tuned my cars well, and it's perfect to your comfortability on turning angles etc
Enjoyed the crew 1 very much, not that sure about the hop in the next vehicle style of play, but i think i will buy it in due time. i like cruising around.
The Crew 2 wins for me because. First Person i feel more like Im driving the car. Bigger map, i like doing roadtrips with my friends. And more things to do, i like that because then you dont get stuck in the same thing all the time. and i have both games and they are great games... dont get me wrong Im not hating on Need For Speed :)
Payback sounds better for me BECAUSE the car noises aren't filled with turbo whines. It makes it sound as though you are pushing the car at high rpms, while the Crew 2...just...feels like you car can still go further even when you're driving it's highest speed.
Crew 2 all the way so much more appealing and a lot more enjoyable, especially being a biker n that the game itself has motorbikes in it, definitely a winner winner fucking chicken dinner for me the crew 2 is 🤣
if youre into a more realistic and open workd racing game with a huge map and a wide variety ofcars to choose from you could buy the crew 2 but if youre into graphical detail and visual aspects then you could buy forza or need for speed
Talk to me about need for speed when you can travel from Las Vegas to LA, New York, Miami, Chicago, Texas, San Francisco, Seattle Washington, And Washington DC
Why would anyone give a shit about those things you barely see them the only time you seem them is when your car is heading straight towards them in a race and destroying them why should the devs waste their time with such a little minor thing thay people wont even care about
the crew 2 car sounds is based on the model of engine used in the car. In nfs car sound is based on the car itself, each car sounds different and has wobbling effects of rpm getting down and exhaust which I like more
Which do i get for x mas?? My mom said i can get whichever one but im not sure, kinda leaning towards crew 2.... (i already have fh4 ultimate edition, so dont recconmend that instead lol)
