@@Ahmed-zv5gz I feel that this game had so much potential. It could've have been great had EA not worked Black Box to death. I wouldn't mind if they released this game in 2010. It probably would've been much better then.
Huge appreciation to the sound designer of Black Box. To me personally Undercover and The Run has the best choice of songs. Also both have dedicated talented composer: Paul Haslinger and Brian Tyler. No other need for speed installment do that.
Most in the music in the game is a miss for me. Only a few songs that stands out, Composed music and Underworld. Rest is "Meh" to "Get this shit out my ears!" The Physics for me is somewhat realistic (Using a g29, then a t300) as the cars have diffrent weight to them and tuning set-ups available. I do like it quite a bit! And Optimisation is decent for me. Buttons can't always be mapped the ones you like without over-lapping the default on the wheel. 1920x1080 is the max resolution and everything looks skinny on a 21:9 screen that I have. Rarely crashes. I will say that the city is DEAD with nothing to do after completing all the races and events. Online mode? Forget about it unless you start yourself a party with other who have the game. YES, online still works after almost 10 years (PC). If the game was 5 bucks and you want a quick arcade experience, go for it. Don't know why it's still $10, guess EA forgot about Undercover lmao.
@@haaxxx9 the physics are good but sometimes the game have some shit bugs with them, when playing on my old PS3 and you go out of a garage with a car you just start to fall to limbo
1. Paul Haslinger - The Setup (0:00) 2. Paul Haslinger - The Miami Drift (2:37) 3. Paul Haslinger - The Streets Of Gold (4:51) 4. Paul Haslinger - Slow Burn (7:17) 5. Paul Haslinger - A Winner's Game (недоступен)
I remember I would play need for speed Undercover and that I would just leave that map screen on the TV because the songs were so chill... I would do chores or clean up around the house to these deep tranquil songs. This was way before the soundtrack was uploaded to youtube. Miss this game so much...
I'm 90% sure it's Heat. People say Payback, Heat is the same size as Payback but more dense & the fact you can drive pretty much anywhere on the map whereas previous games were on a linear road with fences either side in most cases. Heat broke this formula.
The only one NFS game where you play as undercover cop, story had so much potential. Same with gameplay. Shame it ended up like that… P.S: also this is the last NFS game where you can use speedbreaker (slow-mo)
Just Brought this game (again) for ps3, mainly for the soundtrack haha. £3.00 used off ebay, bargin! Also want to pretend it's 2008 (2009) when I played this game.
If EA cared about its BlackBox-era fans (or at least the money in our wallets) it would stop wasting time and make remakes of the most acclaimed NFS titles This is the one that deserves it the most...
I had a dream about this music, it was a blue wireframe world with just endless plains and a single 4-way intersection. There was some sort of wireframe auto repair shop on the corner and a wireframe sports car was exiting the driveway. It drove off into the black background, and the dream was over.
I had a dream similar to that too. I was driving an old car something like a Ford Impala on highway. Then I took another road that seperated me from the highway. I ended up in an unknown street. My car broke down. An old guy helped me out and gave his own car. However the car was from mid 1940’s. I drove the car to a tower and the whole tower was a fish market. These musics were constantly playing at the background
Absolutely, I was playing need for speed undercover for the first time since I was young on my xbox 360 and it felt so desolate, dead, lonely, and eerie. I was in the middle of nowhere on a road and there was no traffic passing or anything. It was so silent, no ambience or music or anything. Just so alone. Everything, the city buildings, the map screen, the fact that the entire center of the map simply is empty, and how dead and eerie it feels.
I feel that need for speed undercover *I had the Xbox 360 version* is unappreciated, sure I know the game was rather rushed, but it's not as bad as some people to make it out to be *and I love most wanted and carbon, all of which i had on Xbox 360* the story was something that could be seen in an action movie, I love the police pursuits, and I even love some of the tracks used here for the map *the setup and a winner's game being my personal favorites* if anything I like to say that undercover is like the swan song for the need for speed games from that era. *from underground 1 all the way to undercover* and while I do appreciate criterion games developing hot pursuit 2010 and most wanted 2012, they just felt like burnout games with the name of need for speed being slapped on, regardless they were fine, just a bit of identity crisis.
@@ElysiumGD thank you so much for the response, and yes I do feel it is decent to good *nothing great of course* 🙂 I still have my fun with it, I got all the dlc before it was taken out of the Xbox store
it's so wierd to here this songs here on the computer when I have the game to xbox 360 ;P wakes up memories.. what a fun time it was when this game came out. no the fun is gone becouse NFS is not doing good games anymore :/ the best NFS games is underground 2 and most wanted. old classic games. just old memories :)
this game have an awesome artistic direction, all the musics fit perfectly with the places where they play, but the game is a disaster... i prefer the PS2 version because the cars physics don't look like they are made of cardboard
I prefer the PS2 version too, but if I EA didn't force Black Box to make the game as fast as possible, the PS3/PC version would be the best. Also don't forget about the fact that EA spent all the money for trailers, advertisement, and music, so they spent just a little money for the game development and Black Box just didn't had time to make the game. It's so sad.
I know this is an old comment, but I'm here from that top gear episode and I was like, "Wait.. wasn't this in undercover..?" (Btw, it's Season 15, Episode 1 timemark 10:57)

Not really. It was way too easy if you know how to use racing techniques. You can even beat almost all the races with your starter car, 240sx s13. It's good but er...
This game was rushed to hell, it had huge potential for a 2007/2008 game. I still like it because it was my first nfs game, and the nostalgia. I completed it about 5 times when i was 7 yrs old. This music is still stuck in my head...
