I'm a massive fan of the Cb7 chassis myself. These Accords will not stop 'til you blow it up or wrap it around a tree. Fantastic car.

I was just going to text that. First car I've bought was a 1990 accord. I've been driving accords since. I own a 94, 98, and 2003 right now. Easy to work on. Decent gas mileage. Got a little boogey for the highway and bulletproof. Stop sleeping on accords and get you one and join our family.

my 96 was just recently stolen and it was low on coolant before they took it. now it looks like it needs a new gasket but still yet to send it to the shop for a proper diagnostic if its even worth saving the f22a1.

I still have my 1988 Honda accord I bought 12 years ago for 400$!!!!!! even though it has a carburetor it's still running very smooth! I've recently been putting a little more work into it to make it run better and man..... this car is just the gift that keeps on giving!! almost 200,000 miles.

Took my86 to 262,000 before trading it in. Was hard on pads and rotors for some reason but other than that an incredible car. Traded it in and saw it rolling down the highway a couple of years later. I found a place in Memphis that rebuilt those carbs and it was money well spent. Ran like ne w after that..

One of the best all around cars ever made in my opinion. I had an 86 accord I ran to 262,000 before trading it in. Did everything well.

Nice find this is my favorite body style of the accords I had a 89 accord lxi 4 door in a white color it ran like a dream super reliable car I called it my baby Chevy super cheap on gas I had mine for over 10 years plus and I ended up giving it to a family member to this day I miss it one of my favorite vehicles of all time congratulations !

One of my favorite Honda's of all-time, next to the Integra and S2000. I've had 2 x 92 LX's w/a manual transmission. Picking up my 3rd this weekend: a 1990 EX w/ a manual trans also.

When you have the clutch pedal assembly out, it's a good idea to check/replace the pedal stop pad on the switch that kills the 12-volts going to the starter when the clutch pedal isn't depressed. That little pad is very difficult to get to when the assembly is still bolted in.

I have a 92 accord LX automatic in that same color scheme. Bought it several years ago from the original dealer. One owner before me. All service records and now only has 119k miles. Mechanically it’s perfect, but the paint is bad (clear coat gone on all top surfaces) and interior badly sun faded. Drives and rides so good. Better than my ‘13 Fit. I’ve done exhaust, alternator, speed sensor, and other minor stuff. Everything works. Debating whether to sell it or keep it. Thanks for the video and your love and care for a great old Honda! Great job getting her back into shape.

My dad gifted me his 91 accord & I also stripped the interior, let me tell you by myself that sh#* was hard 😂. We’ve rebuilt the engine & I’ve spent over 1k in replacement parts but I know it will last me for a very long time. I really want to make it into a project car but there’s not many people who have owned them and done that with how to’s & tips, so I’m debating but it is a really nice car mine is navy blue exterior, tan interior w tan pinstripes. I’ve been able to do almost everything myself as well really easy to work on !

I love my 92LX, It has 424k and never an issue. 5spd cold air hot heat etc. I was listening when you said the trans had 80w90 or something like that, I have used 10w30 engine oil in my 5spd for the last 20+ years. Clean little car for sure and it will last someone a lifetime.

Great work! So happy you saved this one. Had no idea you could hose down a seat like that to clean it. None of my cars have cloth they're all leather, but really cool to see that part and I learned a few things here. Were you just using basic soap with the brush? Sorry if I missed it but the odometer is broken right?

@@VITOSGARAGE will do! loving the content so far. i have a few quick question though, my speedometer isn’t working but every other instrument in my cluster gauge is working as normal. my S light starts to blink shortly after i take off aswell (automatic trans) im hoping a new speed sensor will fix the issues but im wondering if anything else could be causing these problems that i should look out for. my powerlocks also don’t work at all but used to come on here and there when it was frigid cold outside. thank you in advance for any help :)

@@laytleenot sure if you’ve replaced your speed sensor by now, but my accord had the exact same speedometer problem and replacing the sensor fixed it right away

@@Br0dyz3r0 yeah the speed sensor did the trick :) i unfortunately totaled my accord about a month ago hydroplaning off an exit though. i miss the car every day
