I am surprised the older daughter has turned out the way she did, especially with the 'role model she has that is her mother ... educated, smart, loving sister, responsible. Her mother is lucky.
The mother had her at 15, and her grandparents raised her, like it should be, a 15 year in no way is equipped to raised a child. That is a problem we have today, children raising children.
Sadly, rehab typically doesn’t work. Most junkies leave and then OD because they have a lower tolerance, or they spend their time looking forward to the high they’ll get since they hadn’t used in a month or so.
Wow those kids are so fortunate to have a sister that is married and has her own family to come and bring them into her house and her everyday routine and takes care of them. That is an amazing person.
I don't understand these parents when my niece was 2 I was a crack head and I quit cold turkey to raise her now 20 years later I look at the wonderful young woman I raised and think the crack never got me as high as the high I get from the pride I get from the fathers day cards I get.

I saw your latest post and I'm very sorry to hear she is back to using. Keep strong and wonderful, and I hope she will stop soon. I know it's takes several times for most people who use to stop and keep being shining stars who keep the cycle broken by being wonderful, lovely, intellectual and strong survivors!
I'm so sorry to hear your mother is using again. I know you love her, but love is NOT a doormat, it's strong & has backbone, so it's time for you to exercise some TOUGH LOVE & insist she goes back to rehab, or you can go and live with your sister. You've suffered for so long, you think it's normal, but it's NOT...Love doesn't inflict such horrible pain on children...that's NOT love, it's the addict being selfish, willing to do anything for their next fix. Honey, the Lord loves you so very much, and this is NOT His will for you...He does not expect you to live with an addict & cry yourself to sleep at night. I tell you this because I was raised in a dysfunctional violent abusive home, as a child. My dad was a violent alcoholic & sexually molested me & I grew up thinking PAIN was just normal because I had nothing to compare it to. When I became an adult, I was blessed with some truly wonderful caring friends who helped me understand what happened to me...that it was NOT MY FAULT, and I had a right to be happy & loved in a way that brought healing & laughter to my life. It's OKAY to leave your mom...nobody can rescue her except HERSELF...she has to hit ROCK BOTTOM before she's truly willing to change her ways.I'm stopping now to pray for your family. When people talk over each other they tend to become frustrated and when that happens they get emotional and that's when the truth tends to come out It's the same reason there not allowed to have a lawyer
@@ajorbistashe did? I am so sorry! I know how that feels esp with a mom on drugs. Recovery isn’t easy or pretty and sometimes relapses happen but it always hurts. My mom (bio) relapsed a lot. And then died.
what a great judge! Supporting the Mum with rehab to help change her life and her lovely children's lives! Such Compassion! And what fantastic strong young daughters that shall obviously be a great example for other young women in the future! Great show! Very uplifting! Does the heart good!

Omg I'm feeling so proud of the mother outcome👏🏼. I had been in a rehab also, they kept me almost a year in there😳, but I make it😉.I started drugs when my daughter's dad died. I'm 5 years clean from drugs. I did it for me daughter👩👧 There is no shame in getting help from a rehabilitation center. Now I'm working there😁.
Karee...China...I am so sorry. I hear the pain in your voices and I listen to what you are enduring and I am so sorry for what your mother is putting you through. I wish I could give you both a hug and tell you its going to be OK. You are both strong, beautiful, intelligent young women and you are better than your mother will ever be. You're mother is selfish, she is arrogant, she is heartless, shes abusive and she should be ashamed of herself for treating you this way. Don't ever stop loving each other. And I hope your sister did get custody of you.
Garret do you think 28 days could change a lifetime of addiction and behavior? I personally thing 90 days bare minimum to really turn that corner. So I completely agree with you. It was too soon although I hope for the best.
I am so impressed with these kids. damn...something was done right at some point, wondering if the drug abuse came later on? I hope she stays on the narrow....
Started using again, in late 2015 probably. Sad but still, she got 5 years thanks to Judge Pirro and the love of her family and now her children are older and more capable to cope with the situation.
So proud of you Karen the judge saved your life and now your children can have a now beautiful mom that they can truly respect and admire good job keep it up you can do it !
good for Karee to move past the troubled life she was born into and make a great woman out of herself. so many times history is repeated and bad parents make more bad parents but this woman decided she was worth more and not only became a good woman but also wanted to make her siblings better and got married and supported her children like her mother didn't. good for her living a good freaking life.

good I've been thru addiction and it's been two years clean I've slipped a few times but on a great road and I still have my fam that I almost lost my wife if 22 years and my 4 kids and grandkids i almost lost them all I'm glad u guys are doing good just remember it's a road that's hard to stay on and with help ur mother will be fine I hope u all the best ... god bless
Good job at getting over your addiction. I've never had an addiction, so I do not know how hard it is, but I am sure it is really hard. Keep doing what you're doing.

Rehab can be like putting air in a tire that still has a hole in it. Sure, the air helps inflate the tire again, but because the hole hasn't been plugged, it is a fruitless endeavor.
So happy this had a happy ending! These kids really are stepping up to the plate and even though they live in a bad neighborhood they are not deciding to wallow in the cesspool like the mother did for years. I wish this family the best!
I never cried before seen TV, but seen the little girl talking about the drugs for pain that the mother sold was too much for me... How can people be so cruel....

Judge Pirro is an incredible human being...so caring & compassionate, but yet she's TOUGH when she needs to be....a no-nonsense gal, but full of love & laughter too!
I am absolutely shocked that she went to rehab and stuck to it. She had that denial attitude that I thought would prevent her from being humble enough top recover.
I really, really pray she has found herself.... and is able to wake up...happy. It is so hard you guys. To have such an opportunity, for help, to find yourself first. After you find yourself...everything falls into place, as I choose to believe. God bless you and the children who God has put a special sparkle in.

I wish all good things for this family. This is similar to the way I grew up. I was raising a family from the time I was in 7th grade until I got out. Thank You US Army.
I definitely agree with drug testing for welfare recipients AND ON THE SAME HAND I believe that addiction is a disease that requires treatment. God bless this judge for providing treatment for this mother.
I didn't realize how beautiful Karen was until she was watching her daughters talk to JP. I will pray for this family, you can see how much they all love each other. Life is hard, that's why women need to be strong!
It would be so great to hear an update. I so hope that the mother continues to be clean and healthy and there for her children. On the other hand, if she has fallen back to old ways, those girls will survive, they are strong and intelligent, they have a sister who WILL remain their rock if the mother cannot. I sincerely hope the entire family is together and doing well. This was so hard to watch, I cried for the children and in the end cried for the mother also. Good luck to all of them.
What a sad story. It was really hard to see that and what they were going thru. So glad that the Karee was able to get back on her feet. She needed that boost and she got it thanks to Judge Pirro.

wow isn't it sad how the mom treats her children so bad but they still love her no matter what! they want her to be better and they don't wish her any harm! They have been through so much by her selfish butt!

The miracle of NA recovery is always awsome to watch in action.I know because I've been on both sides of this story for 25 years ... I also have 5 incredible children and an addict parent is the saddest thing to watch when in spite of all the love in the world, the drugs will always come first...But there is hope for any addict who wants to live...and you all just saw it. I really do like Judge Pirro...She is like super woman, to me...and incredibly sexy...

She is a great sister and a good person. God will bless her for the rest of her life. She won't get any trouble from anybody in her entire life. That's my wish. And for the mother, I wish she goes to rehab and become like her daughter.
Rehab can help for a period, but based on that mom's basics, she will come up with something else to trouble the family later on - people who mess up with their lives are always a burden to the rest of the family.
if an addict is trying to get clean for her kids, husband or whoever it is not gonna work. they need to get clean because they themselves want to get clean. her saying she is doing this for herself is the onley thing that makes me beleave that she can do it.
She was in rehab for 28 days only?? What happened to 60 or 90 days? It wasn't long enough. I hope that she keeps doing well and is being a better mama to her kids. I'm proud of her for going to rehab! God bless this family!

At first I wanted to beat the crap out of her but then I was extremely surprised that she did go to rehab! I sure hope she doesn't relapse those kids need a mother and I'm just floored how wonderful those children have turned out considering how they were raised. I hope the best for the children and hope their mom stays clean!!
i remember when i was in jr. high, there were kids from well-to-do families that had to cook dinner once a week and that because their parents wanted them to know how to cook. there is nothing wrong with wanting your kids to know how to cook at a young age. my 9 year old knows how to cook and i am proud of that.
