I've been planning a bioactive enclosure for a few months now (it's almost done, just have to add the springtails, isopods and the mourning geckos!) I made a list of everything I needed, and figured I would try to get the best deals with no time constraint. I decided to not get any actual animals until the end. Kijiji and FB marketplace were very useful! People are often selling used exo terras and used reptile supplies like lights for like a quarter of the price they are new. Check over a few weeks and wait for a good deal. I compared the prices of stuff I needed for the background at various stores online, and made a few trips to pick up the cheapest stuff. I got really cheap cuttings of plants like pothos and string of turtles off kijiji. My sister gave me a spider plant pup from her big plant :P It's actually been kinda fun finding the best deals and researching everything :)

Love seeing other people's setups. Is there any chance of a video on leopard geckos with little or no sight. I have 2 rescue girls with bad husbandry caused , permanent medical issues. MBD caused healed breaks. I have done their enclosures with each of their issues taken into account to the best of my knowledge.

Just a heads up forge royal enclosure, while the way its been done its lovely (don't expect plants to last long 😅) it's not bug enough for an adult, adults need a 4x2x2 as minium ☺️

I love watching your videos they have taught me so much i have a leopard gecko a crested gecko and a ball python im getting another leopard gecko soon they are just too cute im so excited however I get them from a breeder now all of my animals are as when I got a leopard gecko at 14 years old my first reptile he was from pets at home and let’s just say he was very sick I will not make that mistake again as he unfortunately passed away from problems with his health

I’ve been searching everywhere for an answer and hope that you may be able to help. I just got a eclipse Mack snow albino and I’ve read that albinos may have issues but mine seems like it’s a cross, so I don’t know if it’s a morph that is dangerous to the gecko.

Have I done a bad job taking care of my leopard gecko if her tank is completely safe, but very simple? I want to improve it so that she will be happier but I don’t really have the money to and I don’t want to bother my parents about it. Plus I’m nervous that I’ll mess up and she’ll get hurt somehow. Sorry for ranting, and if anyone has any tips about redesigning an enclosure I’d love to hear them.
