Mr. Yang is not recognized as a legitimate martial artist among Chinese martial arts societies in Taiwan, China and southeast Asia regardless his popularity in western countries where people know little about Chinese martial arts and its history. The lineage of his Tai Chi teachers is questionable. Kao, Tao and Yue, Huanzhi are not listed on the board of Yang family tree. There is little information about Yue, Huanzhi. Most Chinese articles say that Yue is a disciple of Dong, Yingjie. No records show that Yue is an indoor disciple of Yang, Chen-Fu. That is different from what stated on YMAA board. Mr. Yang claimed on his YMAA board that he learned Taijiquan from Li Mao-Ching. That is incorrect. Li is a master in northern style Shaolin, not in Taijiquan. I personally learned Shaolin from Li years ago while was also learning Tai Chi at the same time. One student asked Li what are the differences between Shaolin and Tai Chi. Li said that if you play Shaolin slowly it becomes Tai Chi. What??? Hello!!! In my trained eyes, Mr. Yang's martial art is created by mixing from different styles with the root in White Crane. I learned Tai Chi from one of Cheng Man-Ching's indoor disciples but never became an official disciple of him. I can claim that I'm the X generation of Cheng but my name is never listed on the board of Cheng family tree. Got it? Mr. Yang's Tai Chi has too many flaws like beginners per my trained eyes. He added too many unnecessary movements to confuse people. Never saw him demonstrating Taiji Jin anywhere. The conclusion is that Mr. Yang created his own Tai Chi form based on White Crane. All of his skills are from White Crane. Is it all a commercial tinge lie?
thank you for you videos. I practice qi gong and the simplified yang tai ji form but my teacher has left the country.i would like to purchase the dvd but it is out of stock in amazon. could i get it somewhere else?
Maestro yang avete anche il dvd in italiano? Se si dove lo si può comprare? Ho il vostro libro in italiano di xing i quan il quale l'ho molto apprezzato e, mi piacerebbe saperne di più. Grazie.
It is just one example of one of Da Mo's qigong. Not taught in this video, but rather the origin of internal Qigong theory. it is a stationary, static posture. You do it the same as ALL of the neigong taught in the video. The mind leads Qi.
Different lineage and I didn't have the time to attend a class when I was in Melbourne so can't comment either way. I can only say that from second and third hand opinion the lineage methodology and founder is good. Also from when I used to live in Melbourne there weren't any teachers/schools openly teaching neigong so that's a plus. www.daxuanschoolmelbourne.com/

Nei Gong is internal martial arts, what about Yang Tai Chi? Is it internal too? I want to enhance and strengthen my mind and spirit , which one should I learn first? I would like to know thank you.
+starfighter1972 Yes, Taijiquan is an internal art. Neigong is a part of any fighting style, and really any human movement at all. Learn neigong and everything is easier.
No disrespect at all, but I ordered the CD and it had no detail info, methodology or practical use. It was just information that I could access online.

i've been in martial arts since age 8 .... been an instructor for 7yrs ... i am 29 ... Where is this school located ........??? i would like to go study there ......'
Sir, you said internal to external and external to internal these two approaches reaches same goal !??? How ?... What is exact Goal here ? Sir Please explain ...
"Internal" refers to developing your Qi/prana to a higher state than normal. Internal arts (like tai chi) build the qi, and then direct it through the movements. External arts (like Kung Fu) use physical force and techniques for self defense, gradually developing internal energy. Both are for self defense, and both end at the same result of higher qi than normal. They just use opposite approach to get there.
@@Ymaa_Publication_Center so, improving Qi or Prana is altimate goal here for which internal and external arts helps to reach that state.....Sir, I hv seen your all videos like standing and sitting brocade , Qinna ; in last week I started reading one book "72 arts of Shaolin"(1935 Tanjin) , in that much imphasis is given on Breeding Qi(prana) and Shue(blood). I like skill of Tortoise back(iron back).
@@Ymaa_Publication_Center one thing I learnt from 1 Kung fu movie " KungFu Killer " staring Donny yen. In that dialogue was...start with #boxing then #kicking , #grappling (Qinna), then #weapon then last to master #internal power ...5 skills. External to internal . Yang outside & yin inside .
Better not, it says you can learn it after age 15. Usually after the body (bone structure) is fully developed...Otherwise they will stop growing taller.
There is no solid proof of that. The oldest recorded in history martial arts are Kalaripayattu from India and Pancrase from Greece. Both are full contact without woo-hoo, chi and miracles.
@@jpsholland No proof of evolution or big bang, just theories lol, proof? ask a scientist it happened billions of years ago ahaahaha

But how I know that these techniques is usedful in real fighting, I saw the movements is very gentle and slow and didn't see any real fighting videos using theses techniques?
These techniques are Neigong, (nay goong), which means inner exercise. It is for the body's health, not primarily for fighting. Sometimes you need to have Neigong health before and after fights or with no fights.
Jucutan, people have nuclear missiles and bombs, can bullets stop missiles and bombs? People have modern transports like cars, fast boats, airplanes, saucers................., you go and stop people walking? Have you a clear logic in your mind? Thinking about different categories and compare? Go back and study a little teeny tiny bit of logic and rationality !!!!
