A MLGW worker was attacked by a dog while checking for a faulty meter, leading to a shooting in a resident's backyard, according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.

I am sick and tired of having to mindful that anyone of these things could turn on you, and I hate the fact I have to carry something to ensure my own safety as I refuse to be a victim to somebody's incompetent lifestyle behaviour.

Why has MLGW not upgraded utility to smart meter ? Memphis remains years behind other cities and communities due to ignorance ! I am glad those dogs did not kill the worker.
@@earth9544 I too have a dog that can be threatening. Though well trained and friendly around good folks and animals, I keep him leashed and take full responsibility for his actions. As a registered Service dog, I accepted legal responsibility for his actions. If he damages anything or bites, I am responsible and would get charged 💯👍👑

@@al2805 my dog is well trained, has social skills and not a threat to anyone unless he, I or those around us are threatened. Yet if he senses a threat and I let him off, I take full responsibility for his actions 💯

People need to learn to train their dogs properly if you need help ask because most people with dogs are not even in control of the dog . Most times the dog is bigger than them and they can't handle it at all . They need to face charges when their dogs attack Innocent people hurt for nothing
He should’ve contacted the owner before showing up Mlgw workers need to start being more professional & safe ..also if the homeowner after the fact knew he was there they should be responsible….
Are u not paying attention? The owner was there - “…MLGW spoke to the owner”. He had the dogs in the house. Owner later released the aggressive dogs (neighbors had been complaining about) into the back yard while he was there.
