65 year old Vietnam Era Vet and I listened to Neil back in the 70's, drank way too many Beers to his songs but loved evva minute of it!!! Greatest years for music to me! Love the song, Love you and your reaction!!!
I agree. My late husband was a Vietnam Vet. He retired from the Air Force after twenty years. He passed nine years ago at age 63. He too drank way too much for a time.
This is Neil s most popular song and biggest hit in 1972 from his classic Harvest album. So many of his songs (like this) are so cinematic and therapeutic.
Neil is absolutely one the all-time greats. I see you wearing a Waylon shirt Neil actually has a duet with Waylon called ----- Bound for Glory--- I would suggest this song, although, you can't go wrong with anything by Neil.
Baby you will love him like all of us 70s teens. He joined Crosby, Seals and Nash at one point and gave a whole new dimension to the group. He didn't stay long but it was great while he was there. This is who Lynyrd Skynyrd mentions in Sweet Home Alabama.
Neil has so many great songs . He was in several bands and he wrote a song called Needle and the Damage Done after a band member died from a heroin overdose, that is beautiful!
