Late, probably beaten to, but Dan, the reason it kept stopping your train, despite green signals, was because of the AWS(Automatic Warning System), it makes three different sounds, depending on the signal. You must respond to it, no matter what the signal colour, or it'll automatically apply the brakes and stop the train, it's a safety measure.

I remember playing Train Simulator 2003 and it is amazing how the graphics slightly improved in the 12 year span.

Tesco Lemon Bleach Yes. I am aware of that. However, if you look at the progression of the graphics itself you will notice some subtle changes. I wasn't referring to the developers of each TS (Train Simulator) game.

When you apply power you can't change direction until you have completely stopped the train. If a signal is two yellow, one yellow or red than it will beep at you. Just press 'Q' and it shall be good.

Once a locomotive is notched up and with a set reverser, you cannot change the direction of the reverser until the locomotive is powered down. (i said powered down not stopped,)

Thats so very wrong. Once a diesel or electric locomotive is in forward or reverse you cant change it while the throttle is open. Totally diffrent with steam locos

Set your reverser before bringing up the throttle. If the throttle is up, the game won't let you move the reverser.
