Nerf N-Strike Elite Strongarm - Range Test (Stock) 

The strongarm was my first Nerf blaster, and I still have it today.

I love Nerf and Dart Blasters so much! It's my favorite toy so this is one of my favorite channels!

I just received the strongarm this morning and I'm expecting my rapid fire tomorrow morning . So far I'm really impressed with the strongarm, it's a lot more powerful than I thought it was going to be

Additionally, Nerf is a very imperfect science to put it mildly. My videos are about quickly and concisely allowing people to see generally what they can expect from a blaster. To get a real picture I would have to fire dozens of darts out of multiple copies of the same blaster to account for the significant performance differences between each individual unit.

The strongarm is my favorite gun and in nerf wars, I will always use this as my primary.

I've discovered a trick were you can push the gun forward as you fire to get better ranges, but it sometimes doesn't work

It's been great for me in wars. Gotta love revolvers! I'm really excited by the prospect of using this in HvZ.

Thanks. There is also the point in that I am left-handed, making the priming a whole lot more inconvenient.

There's a version with a black grip (no white around the logo) do you know if there's a performance difference? Does Slam fire make the spring weaker over time? I just got the Disruptor. It'll shoot one dart out a couple feet often.

As best I can. I'm just running into weather issues, because it's winter for me now. Don't worry, as soon as I can get a nice day I'll be getting the rest of them done.

Another important question might've been - How STRAIGHT do they shoot....which may have been well answered had you been aiming straight down the line instead of aiming 4 feet on out to the right under fairly strong left to right wind conditions.....No wonder most all of 'em ended up right....

what about the disruptor everyone says it is better than strong arm

Yeah, i knew it had a lever, but i wanted to believe priming was fast, what a disillusion ! Thanks for the spoil ! :) You seems to like your Strongarms anyway, i think i'll get one. But i still like the Diatron for its quirky side ! I guess i'll get one later. Thanks for the advice Claire !

I have this fun to this day and it’s amazing! Got it like 6 years afo

One problem mine isn’t working well after a couple of days it is shooting most of the darts about 3 feet away

HELP!! My Strongarm doesn't roll the barrel onto the next dart when it fires! So I can't do the slam fire!

for some reason my nerf strongarm has very inconsistent firing and only fires about 5 feet each time. if you know how to fix this- PLEASE HELP!!! :(

Totally agree with you. When I'm quoting the top shot at the end of the video it's not that I'm saying "This is what you can expect from every shot," because clearly that isn't the case from all the other shots I'm walking past. It's more of a "This is the max potential you can expect", and from what I've seen, many in the Nerf community skip to, and only care about that top number anyway. For those of us that want the full range, is why I show the others and have the spread in the description.

I would recommend to use Strongarm, because it is slam fire and easy to reload. And replace it with maverick. Im using it for secondary, and its not too big for me either

which is better the fire strike of the strongarm in speed and normal and I love your vids?

I was actually trying to get the Diatron test filmed in this batch, but ran out of sunlight. I'd say the Strongarm over the Diatron at the end of the day, but they're both great. The Diatron has a couple of flaws that keep it in second place. Namely that it gets a max of 5 shots (10 discs, but 5 shots), because it has to fire two discs at a time. There is no single fire option, and if you don't have an even number of discs in the blaster it won't fire the last shot.

How come my strongarm could get 90 and 80 ft and i have no mods on it

You and me both! Of course it immediately snowed over again the next morning...and then melted/rained today, so it's a mud pit. My filming windows are few and far between at the moment.

Pretty instructive video, nice work ! By the way, i already have a Vortex Nitron and i'm looking for a small blaster, but i'm torn between the Elite Strongarm and the Vortex Diatron. Did you have the opportunity to test the Diatron ? I like revolvers like the Strongarm, but the multishot feature of the Diatron looks quite interesting.

Does your strongarm make a springy metal ish kind of noise when you fire it as mine does

Hehe, I loved it so much I got a second one. I think all my friends here at RHUL are trying to get their hands on one now they've seen just how good they are in action. Alice and Bob (yes, I've named them) are going to a force to reckon with when the next game of HvZ comes along.

Looks and shoots like Borderlands weapons :D I feel like getting one...

Yeah, the weather down here has been pretty much the same. Been wanting official ranges on these blasters, but I've had nowhere to set up as well.

He fires the blaster slowly to make sure that movement doesn't corrupt the range.

These guns are going to make me get back into Nerf.

I have the 2015 version of this gun, which is the same thing except there is white instead of black where it says strongarm. also other small things not worth mentioning.

I guess it must be a pain for most blasters... Some are ambidextrous however, like the Nitron, but this one is to noisy to be stealth. Anyway, have fun with your Strongarms !

How have you found this blaster in NERF watrs/HvZ? I'm in the UK, and when I ran it the first short game of the new year (NERF CTF with snowballs), most of my friends where shocked at how good it is. My favourite moment with it so far has to be stunning three running players one after the other, one shot each at about 55 feet, whilst walking towards them, in the above game.

This guy should make a disruptor range.

73-74 ft

Yeah I think this blaster would hit well over 75ft angled since it can hit up to 74ft flat. Thing is a little cannon!

I have dual strong arms basicially double the and fire rate and I demolish with them

i got one today put it up against a basically new maverick and the maverick was 15 feet behind

you will laugh but i just found this gun in the trash outside. perfectly functional. tested indoors but gotta test it outdoors cause i'm tired of losing nerf darts hiding behind chairs etc.

The reload should be like the Magnum 44. where you flip to the side and you place a full mag with 6 bullets
