This is a range test for the Nerf ZombieStrike HammerShot. Shots were fired flat at shoulder height. There was a slight breeze going from left to right across the firing path. Results: Low: 32ft Mid: 43ft High: 57-58ft
Gotta give credit to great weather that day. Just the perfect amount of cloud cover, so it was very bright out to show off great colors, but not so much that it caused the image to get washed out. Still rocking an iPhone 4 as my camera.
Favorite nerf gun ever, I love it I have two of them and I usually use them both instead of my bigger guns like the rampage or stryfe. Even if I only get to use one of them I would choose it over any other gun
Yep, don't worry, if you buy this blaster you do get the green zombie darts with it. Where mine came from I only got the loose blaster, so I used regular elite darts. The zombie darts are just green elites, so the ranges aren't going to be any different.
It's not yet scheduled for release and fires a new Elite Mega dart that is reported to be one inch in diameter, with the length proportionally longer. The advertised ranges are on the order of a hundred feet (angled, of course). BTW, regular Nerf micros are a half inch, and the old mega darts are five eighths... so these things are HUGE!
alright thank you i just wanted to know because ive been seeing lots of pictures of the blaster out of its box and being compared to the longshot and its clip you can tell the differences too of the dart size
I'd say it's about the same amount of strength for any of them. This might be a little harder just because you have less surface area to work with. It's still easy to do though.
I Removed the AR and could keep the rotating function. The low on my modded blaster is 50ft and the high is about 100ft. Honestly you could easily do better than me with the help of youtube and previous experience. To sum it up the hammershot is a beast for modding
One thing I've found is that sometimes when you fire or when the chamber is empty the hammer slowly resets and this is a troublesome thing especially for rapid firing by fanning the hammer so I removed the rubber stopper in the blaster and now I don't have that problem but I didn't check if there was a difference in ranges.
Dear RandomShadow09 , is Strongarm better than this ? I like this gun because it is being handled like a cowboy . Also Strongarm takes 6 bullets . Nevertheless , I want to know .
Hey Randomshadow, aside from the awesome aesthetics of the gun, in my opinion the best we've seen from Nerf, how do you like the blaster as a weapon? Do you think it would make an effective sidearm for HvZ? I'm a run and gun type of guy so I like using light weapons and am considering using this for traversing to and from classes.
Nicely done! Are you able to pull back the hammer with one hand easily? How hard would it be to dual-wield HammerShots? What ranges are claimed on the package the HammerShot came in? And lastly, does that black "tube" slung underneath the cylinder have any function at all or is it just part of the design look?
I have both the sledgefire and the hammershot. They're both pretty cool. I got them both on target. And you can check on ebay if you wanted to buy one.
