Just received my Vertuo Pop+. I guess I like it because it's quicker than a regular coffee maker or French Press. The flavors seem quite strong, even using the lightest ones. I'll just add hot water to it maybe.
Just got the Pop+ and the crema is very disappointing compared to Next model. It's not really crema - just thick foam that disintegrates quickly. The Next I have used makes crema so thick it lasts as long as it takes to drink the coffee. Massive difference. I'm thinking of returning the Pop for a different model. Update - I returned the Pop+ and got the Virturo round head. I love it - Massive improvement. It's an older design but makes a perfect brew. Plus I love the retro look.
my opinion the ventuo plus does do have lots crema and taste better than the next , better yet did purchased another-chrome drip tray and chrome touch up and down mechanism Nespresso vertuo plus coffee maker incase if breaks down (the first one purchased 4 years ago)
Had a next, it was OK-ish, but wouldn't read the barcodes anymore and started leaking after two years. Then bought the plus and love it. With some capsules the crema even remains lingering in the mug when I drank all the coffee. I use my finger to scoop it out and lick it.😊
I just got my Pop machine today. Generally very happy with it but the water tank is fixed at the rear whereas in this video it’s at the side. Strange? Or am I just confused?!
Not really. The brands make their own machines but using parts, patents and specifications approved and agreed to by Nespresso. Primarily it’s a licensing agreement; the name on the front makes no difference to the parts within, their performance or their build quality…the company just builds them for Nespresso and gets to badge them under their brand. Buy whichever you find at the best price or suits your kitchen aesthetic. Happy shopping.
im kinda late to the party but i have to say thats an awesome video!! i've seen that there were many choices for vertuo but i havent done the research yet and your video just poped up! i wanted to upgrade my nespresso machine and give my old original to my brother. im leaning towards plus more but i didnt get why there is no button for dossage. you only have to use a small capsule if you dont want much and a big one if you do? also i found out from other videos that virtuo machines dont use pressure like the old ones, but centrifussion. want to see what will be the difference! 🤔
Hi, I enjoyed watching your video and your comparison to the Nespresso machines. I was wondering if you can tell me if you can make hot chocolate with the plus?
I have Nespresso Vertuo Plus and I love it , I don't like the way it works on opening and closing mechanism system on vertuo next or vertuo pop , sorry
I am using the Plus for 4 years now, but it's starting to get an issue where it has trouble getting the amount of coffee out (ML) that's suppose to get out. So i might go for a Pop or something next, don't know yet. I also have a Next in my storage lol, i got it for 1 euro (it was a sale for a short amount of time, but i think they made a mistake and it should be 1 euro with a coffee subscription so that was corrected later). But that Next is just my back-up machine i case the Plus totally dies. Only a shame that the Pop doesn't include that automatic opening / closing. Btw, they don't even sell the Plus anymore...
And why didn't he try the Plus? The whole and only point of this video is to compare the three coffee makers and that didn't happen. Dude, you had only one job to do.....
