Matt Hoh has steadily become one of my favorite voices over this past year . Great moral compass , great understanding of how DC works , and political psychology . I think I remember he tried to run as a Green Party candidate in NC . Maybe try again in a couple years Matt . There is such a short list of people in Congress who act on conviction rather than $ and self interest ( both parties ). We need to slowly get a critical mass of Real People in the Legislature if there is any hope for this country to change course for a better direction .

This sad truth has been carefully documented, allowing the international community to judge. It has become an unquestionable part of our history, which requires a change in our governing system. We should not limit ourselves to the choice between Republicans and Democrats. Instead, we should create a third political party because these two established groups have considerably abused their power. The loss of trust in our government has reduced global trust and confidence. They are probably saying to themselves, unfortunately, other than business, they have no respect for us.

It is a small point but significant i think: Russia has not 'taken' one fifth of Ukraine's land mass. Not all all. It has helped that one fifth resist the continuing attempt by Kiev to invade and occupy and dominate it. Big difference. Everyone happily ignores the Donbas, the essence of all this, and that statement, putting things that way, does, too. The Donbas held Kiev at bay for eight years single handed. If Russia attacked and tried to take that Donbas and the Donbas didn't want it we wouldn't have the situation we see today, not at all. Doesn't change the tenor of the conversation or any of the overall truth. But I just like to point it out because it is a sore point with me, the overlooking of Donbas. Why? Well I think a civil war in Ukraine with the majority seeking to ethnic cleanse the minority would never have received the public support and acquiescence that 'Russia invading Ukraine' has gotten. So thousands and thousands of lives might have been saved - and still might be saved - just by putting things correctly. Note: NO ONE does this. None of Nima's guests, who're also often Napolitano's guests and none of the standard others in 'alt-media' either, such as for instance the Duran. And it is a sore point with me. I consider it at the very least sloppy journalism and at the worst actual CIA promoted propaganda. And don't laugh at that. Regardless of what they think they are doing or want to do what they ARE doing is that: promote sympathy for Kiev, promote support for more arms and fail to utter the truth. Yep.
