The official name of the Netherlands in Dutch is also plural 'Het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden' though like you said, in everyday speech it's just refered to as 'Nederland'. Note also that in Dutch there is an equivelant of the English word 'Dutch', which is 'Diets', though this word has been almost entirely disredited, because it was used almost exclusively by the Dutch Nazi party, they would call the Netherlands 'Dietsland' and some modern Dutch right wing groups also still do, but most Dutch people probably have not even heard that word before.
