Not from The Netherlands, but what an unbelievable team they had then. From Van Breukelen to Van Basten, they just oozed talent and class. Geraldinho was one of my personal, unsung favourites. Gullit was artistic on the ball. I miss those days. The Dutch are such a nice and humble people by the way. Loads of respect from Ireland.

The Soviets in the 80s had a phenomenal GK called Rinat Dasayev. He was an amazing player but what is most memorable about this GK was that he conceeded some of the prettiest & most wonderful goals in Football history! In 1982 Brazil scored 2 magnificent goals against the Soviets....they were scored by Socrates & Eder....BEAUTIFUL goals.....& again in 1988, the amazing goal by Van Basten, shown in this clip......mind you, Ruud Gullit's header was also a fantastic goal!

USSR was an amazing team. They won against Holland in group stage 1:0, but unfortunately for them lost to Holland in this final. Though, USSR is the first champions of Europe of 1960.
