Just got my pair today and thank you for putting these on my radar. I only have an hour or two listening time but I am really enjoying them. I definitely agree with the comfort comments in the video.

Recently got me a pair and can say they are the best headphones I have ever used. They have taken my mixing game to another level. Powerhouse with Accuracy and Efficiency in an Elegant package.

Your reviews have cost me fair share of money, I've bought the 1more quad driver (I thought zero carbo audio tenore were VFM, but this is the champ now), bought the shoure tape(hadn't heard about it before you) and the hd6xx (yeah couldn't get the 5s) and hifiman he4xx AND now the Neumann NDH20!

I just bought these and they sound amazing and don't hurt my ears at all.

Really great cans! Nicely balanced, great low end extension, but not dark. clarity and detail retrieval is remarkable. I lucked out and picked up a pristine used pair for a considerable discount.

He's right about how quick they change your mind. I went to the audio store just to buy a cable. But I've been looking at the DT 1770s. Here in Aus they're 150 more than these. The girl there said she likes the nuemanns. I put them on and I brought then instantly.

I know this might be blasphemy, but can't you sand down the cable connectors a bit with fine sandpaper or a diamond file?

After using these for a few months I will say these are the absolute best this on this planet. I discovered something new last night with them. Close your eyes and listen to a chill vibey song that pans back and forth between left and right and its gonna sound like a speaker is rotating around your body, dropping bliss down on you. eah, I returned the DT 770 ordered on Amazon, and ran to the nearest audio store bought the NDH20. You win Zeos

For casual listening they sound better through a tube amp but these are intended for music creation, monitoring, etc. through solid state.

These headphones are incredible. A little bit of discomfort after a few hours solid, but so worth it.

i like that sometimes you just don't fuck with a pair of headphones - because you can accept them for just the way they are. even better when they're $500, not $1,600!

I own this. Couldnt be happier. Exactly what I was looking for for a long time. Tight sound, extreme precision, really really detailed, transparency, no sibilance, everything is smoth. Just insane! I also own Neumann KH 80 speakers. The sound signiture is the same. Neumann NDH 20 headphones are baby Neumann KH 20 speakers. The only headphones that make me happy, I can listen to them for days.

Little late to the party but needed to buy a pair of closed back's to work alongside my HD600's, went to demo some headphones at the store after seeing this video, demo'ed these, the DT1770's, those Shure SRH 1540's and a couple more, these outshone all of them, currently sitting at home with them rocking dire straits, best headphone purchase ever! Thanks Zeos!

ndh20 is one of the best CB headphones I’ve ever heard, don’t know about ndh30 maybe they will be my next headphones but I was hesitating to purchase ndh20 just because all those BS graphs popped out on the net. When I put them on I was shocked, best sounding closed back headphone under 3000usd PERIOD. After purchasing NDH20 I’ll never give a sh.t anymore about any “professional”, “audiophile”, “competent reviewer” or whoever measure anything because that doesn’t mean sh.t until you hear the fu.kig can.

I'll start out by saying I have a love /hate relationship with Z reviews. I love the down to earth, straight forward, no holds barred approach, although I have to be careful not to be drinking anything at the time of watching a review for fear of him saying something and me blowing out what I'm drinking through my nose laughing, but I love the reviews in general. What I hate about the reviews is that most of the shit he's reviewing is ether too expensive for me or "unavailable". I can't do anything about the first and I'm sorry Z but, I just can't justify even a modest $10 a month additional bill to become a paying patreon to see these reviews before they go public and the shit is still in stock. I got to try these out once, and they were surprisingly comfortable for how uncomfortable they were

I've had a pair of NDH20s for several years now. As far as all my closed-back units go these are the greatest sounding ones I have or ever heard. The only problem they have is the 1/8"/1/4" connector on the cable- crap. I replaced them with a Chinese set and perfection end to end. Not as comfortable as the 7506s but still nice for many many minutes.

weird question perhaps, but how does the midrange on these compare to the audeze el-8c? I've listened to both sound demos over 10 times now, but I find it hard to descern

Yo zeos. Would these be a good companion to the 58x? I’ve been agonizing for months now trying to figure out what sort headphone upgrade I could make with a 500-700 dollar budget and nothing there seems to be enough of a step up

I just bought the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pros for about $610. After watching this review I felt like I made a huge mistake. But, after looking at the reviews on Amazon (including Zeos's review, which mentioned the DT 1990s) I feel like I'll get stronger or "heavier" bass from the DT 1990s, which I definitely prefer. One critical review stated that the NDH20s have "anemic" bass, another asked "Where's the bass??" Lol. I guess for closed headphones they don't have the bass SPL as others do. I'm sure they have tons of detail and everything else audiophiles love, but I come from car audio where I'm used to listening to 12" or 15" subwoofers at 130+ dB. I need that dramatic, high SPL bass sound, or as close as I can get to it with headphones. I once had some JBL 12" subs that had tremendous amount of dampening to them, so the bass was very tight and accurate, because they were so well controlled. So the bass attacked very quick and then recessed, which was nice. But I still missed the boomy dramatic sound of my high end Jl Audio subs.

did you compare it with high quality close back pionneer? i have the pionneer xdj-c70 that i love..

I had a Pair of Neumanns back in 1979 and they blew away all the high end phones like there were selling tin cans with strings..and the Neumanns were 100"s of dollars cheeper than all the other brands...

I am using these with 2i2 any recommendations if I will even need a headphone amp? They're not sounding bad but I use them for mixing mastering. I am looking to add detail and accuracy of translation. Will appreciate a suggestion.

So I hope somebody can help me. Im thinking of getting the Momentum 2/0 aebt wireless ones for ~ 230 Euro. Do they sound muffled on real life and what are good alternatives? I wish for ANC but for that point I could get the Taotronics over ear for about 60 bucks. But I also want to use them not only outside but basically as my daily driver as well. Thanks in regard

beyerdynamic DT177x or Neumann NDH 20... Drop formerly known as Massdrop *what* doesnt have a drop and it is not really offical same with Jubilee... but but the Neumann are easier to order w/o waiting.
