These customers are crazy. I hope that they are just ignorant to the situation but I know that’s not the case. They think they are doing us a favor by tipping big. They are sitting at home eating their cold food smiling “I bet I made that drivers night :)”. Oh yeah you made that drivers night something alright.

@@stevewoodyt I don't think a lot of customers are aware of how far away the driver had to drive when they place an order. I had an alcohol delivery once that took me to a town 18 miles away. I took it because the total pay was over $1/mile, but even that is low considering I had to drive 18 miles back. When the woman found out how far I had to drive, she gave me another $5 cash.

They charge the customer a distance fee. What dd needs to do is pay us better

@Dazlidorne A lot of people really don't know how to do the math. Some are just working to put gas back in their car.

Also have to get paid for your dead miles to another good pick up location. In LA, gas is nearly $5/gal. I double the miles, at $2/mile, or not profitable. Needless to say, I hardly do any deliveries anymore. There's no point to work for nothing!

I accidently accepted a 2 dollar order on UE, forgot I accepted it until the customer texted me to cancel their order about 45 minutes later. After I saw their text I dropped their trash order.. oops....

I tried Uber Eats and it's absolutely pathetic the delivery they give the drivers. I had a $2.97 driving 9 miles away. Uber Eats wants a slave delivery driver.

I hate getting a Dunkin order because I usually have to wait at least 10 mins for the one in my town to finish making the order. Even in the notes from the restaurant, it warns you that it would be ready if you took the order under 8 mins from it being placed.

The reason they send you to other restaurants has to do with restaurants being out of stock.

I declined the same type crap order from Uber the other day.. throughout the day they kept sending me that same offer.. which I kept declining. Finally they came to their senses and upped the payout. I finally accepted.. get to store.. store was closed! Had to get in touch with customer service..bam instantly affected my cancellation rate through no fault of my own. Yesterday they sent me a 'package' pickup. I accepted.. the 'package' called me and informed me she didn't think something was right because she asked for a Driver to pick HER up and she said it now was showing Her as a package. I told her to first cancel the order.. secondly call Uber! I was like wth Uber! Bottom line..none of these dang companies worth driving for any longer.
