Love how this woman wanted zero affiliation with The Cheesecake Factory and now she’s known as “The Cheesecake Factory chick” all over the internet.

When my parents were dating, my dad was ordering chicken parm at every restaurant he brought my mom to. My mom's mindset at the time was "I hope these dates aren't too expensive for him, I'm going to order on the cheap 1/2 of the menu" (since chicken parm was one of the cheapest items on the menu at those restaurants). Turned out, it wasn't a money issue - dad just really likes chicken parm. But now the mindset of some of these women is the opposite - to milk as much money as possible out of these men with no thought to how it affects these men financially or mentally.

Really glad he stood up for himself, called her out, and told her no. This is a good example for all men.

Ladies that man is a keeper. In the face of pure disrespect and entitlement he didn't call her names, he didn't raise his voice, he firmly and calmly told her no. She's done, no games. Kudos to him. And kudos to Courtney.

I had a first date that was a lot like this. Ironically it was a dinner-and-a-movie date. She kept me waiting outside for so long that I had to buy a second pair of movie tickets for a different show time. I took it all in stride, adjusted all the reservations, paid for everything, opened doors, and so on. And at the end of the evening she still had the temerity to chastise me for not presenting her with a bouquet of flowers. The movie we went to was “How to Lose a Guy…” 😆True story. PS: “Sprinkle sprinkle.” Ugh! TikTok is literally killing billions of brain cells every second all over the planet with all this specious nonsense disguised as “knowledge”. Can humanity survive this toxic tsunami of faux wisdom? Will people learn to stop being so credulous? I hope so. It’s like watching a herd stampeding towards a cliff. Stop following crazy “creators.” Stop being “influenced.” Respectfully submitted.

Right here folks. Delete your online dating profiles and get out and get to know someone. This woman needs help. This is absolutely sick and this dude should have told her to get out of the car and get her own Uber. Also, she needs to publicly apologize for humiliating this man. Btw, she's 6'1 and weighs about a good 260lb. There is another video where she appears on a podcast with the guy she messed up with the date with and I promise you, you'll be shocked that she thinks so highly of herself. Honestly based on her looks alone, I wouldn't even rate her a 5. Maybe a 4 at best. But with that attitude, she went all the way down to a zero for me. So yeah, she's right. You don't take a woman who looks like that to the Cheesecake Factory. You her to McDonald's or KFC.

It's funny how when he tells her I'm just going to drop you off at home then, that her tune suddenly changes to let's find a compromise and says he had some good points. It's crystal clear that she has an entitled mentality and was trying to bully and/or guilt him into paying for meal that suits her "worth". I give him props for keeping his composure because if it was me, I don't know if I could have kept my cool or I would have dropped her off as fast as I could.

Cheesecake Factory is more expensive than I would ever pick for a first date. How does this person think she has any right to complain about it ? I find it hilarious that The Cheesecake Factory is considered broke people eating to some people. I'm only a college a student, but for me and my gf's first anniversary last year I took her there as a nicer restaurant because we both broke 😂. She was very appreciative of it. If she acted like that, I'd have probably just called it quits right then. I ain't got time for that.

There are a lot of women who make this rage bait type of videos because they know most people will react angrily, giving them free views and attention for no reason at all. She showed up an hour late, and by the time she was finally ready to go, the restaurant had canceled his reservation. Cheesecake Factory was his Plan B. Then the sequence depicted in the video happened, and he gave up and drove her home. He was far too patient, chivalrous and courteous with her. However she did him a favor by saving him what he would have spent on what was obviously a foodie call

I’ve never watched the entire video. I didn’t know she was an hour late and The Cheesecake Factory was his backup plan. That makes the situation even worse. He did the right thing by ending the date. She was disrespectful and did not deserve another chance. The lady in the second video has to be joking.

I had an experience with a girl like this when I was around 19 or 20. She wasn't a gold digger, but she was extremely bratty though. I rolled over and took it the first few times we hung out but eventually I stood up for myself and just left. She was flabbergasted and even started crying; it was like she couldn't even believe that someone might have that reaction. One of the best learning experiences I ever had... another friend of mine flew down to see her 15 or so year later without consulting me first, unfortunately, and it went about as well as one might imagine: brought along her parents to dinner, ordered the most expensive items on the menu, and then after having implied that she was sexually interested in him for weeks, "allowed" him to go down on her and then rolled over and went to bed. He called me from the hotel parking lot afterward to vent about it and I felt so bad that he had even gone to meet this "woman". This Sprinkle Sprinkle lady is something else too, never heard of her before. She says, "All he had to do was say he was gonna take her shopping after. That's all he had to do." All he had to do? I've had female strangers be over the top rude and uncivil towards me in public for no reason at all, but never had any gal that I took out on a first date be that over the top rude and mean on a first date or meeting. For example, if I were to attend the NYC Metropolitan Opera $5,000 a plate charity event I would dress in a certain way that I would not if I were to go to a local dive bar to listen to some heavy-metal band play. Video idea for you… have single women rate a guy on just his “credentials” alone (career, interests, personality, etc… no photos). Then later have them unknowingly rate the same guy based on appearance w/ photos and see how the two scores line up.

After watching the original video as well as the followup interview, I think the whole problem was that she wasn't really into him. She probably thought she was doing him a favor by going on the date and expected some high-class treatment to compensate for what she didn't find attractive in the guy. When she didn't get what she wanted out of the deal, she threw her tantrum.

I actually think the first few dates should be fairly simple - It would make me uncomfortable if a guy had a date that was very elaborate and $$$. I also think that, early on, it’s not that safest thing to have the guy pick you up in his car - try to arrive and leave separately if you can, especially if the other person ends up being 😱.

The strangest part of this story: I consider the CF a GREAT 1st-date location, since it has such a huge menu. Even if the quality isn't 5-star, I imagine anyone can find something to get there... they have steaks & seafood if you want a big dinner, burgers & sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, etc. They have plenty of vegetarian options, etc.

Props to the guy for tolerating her BS for as long as he did and agreeing to engage in a dialogue with her, but he should've just kicked her out of his car and let her hail a cab home with that egregious degree of disrespect. Punctuality only matters for men. The girl can show up a couple hours past the agreed upon time and the guy will still be twiddling his thumbs waiting. I dont think this, but I'm old enough to remember Dr Laura on AM radio and her criticism of female behavior especially regarding relationships, even going so far as to write books about it. I think the thing that bothers me the most about this whole incident is the negative impact it had on the young man, like it or not he was involed in a viral video where he was essentially told that where he decided to take his date to wasn't good enough and while we can sit back and watch all the positive feedback (like this) saying "good fot you" he's probably seeing some of the negative that we're not seeing. No individual is going to be eager to jump back into the dating game after receiving this type of criticism and sadly i think its far more common than most people realize

This "Date" seemed staged to me. Giving it the-benefit-of-a-doubt my advice would be never pick up anyone you don't know even for a first date. Always meet somewhere public first where you can walk to the coffee shop or diner. First dates don't rate expensive restaurants. If the woman in question doesn't like the coffee shop or diner she is free to walk away. No harm, no foul. Never apologize if you didn't say or do anything wrong. The New York Post has had several articles over the last few years based on surveys/studies where about a third of women had admitted that they go on dates for free dinner, drinks, and entertainment like a movie if offered. These are called "Foodie Calls". That's a lot of women who have no intention of seeing you again let alone who were looking for a relationship to begin with. Best dates that I have been on started as a "Coffee" date where you can sit and talk with the woman you are interested in. Never start off any "get together" at a movie theater since most everyone else there is present to watch the movie. Women with attitudes like this one wearing lavender lipstick don't "deserve" anything.

You could not get away with that in my country! The man would give you about 5s to explain yourself and then he would drop you off at the nearest bus stop/taxi rank/police station and you would have to make your own way home. Women like this eventually develop a reputation in our community, that they are uncouth. I am very proud of this man for standing his ground. As women we need to hold our friends accountable - to not act like brats. One aspect of living in a diverse country like ours - you will not be appealing to everyone because there are many types of attraction/beauty, so you have to be on your best behaviur or you will literally just be ghosted.

I find it really disgusting when people pedestalize themselves or others because of their good looks. It's like they're saying people that aren't attractive to them and many others are less important in society. They're basically saying that looks are more important than actual values or principles. This is exactly why I think looks are very overrated. If you're attracted to someone, other people's views or opinions of that person doesn't count. Only yours counts. If my partner sees me as attractive, I don't care what other people think about me.

He just give a lesson and was an example how a person should be. Being humble and respectful are two of the most important things a person should have as life standards. Not forgetting the self-respect he has as well. That shows a man/person with values. Bravo
