Same bro I brought out a rondo type playmaker build and started passing and trying to get guys involved, some players I ran with complained I was in total confusion. lemme hop on a scoring build and watch everyone complain that I should pass the ball more doesn’t make any sense.

The only time I get mad at someone is if they pass so much because they can't shoot. Played with a couple people who would pass off a wide open 3 or middy because they can't shoot.

No matter what devs do to fix something , someone will find a way to exploit it

It's all about having fun these exploits you speak on if they were so easy everyone would do them. In older 2k there was less cheese why because they tried to slow the game down and restrict the play style. A park game has 3 v3 full courts for fuck sale why are we all moving slow. I have bad news for you this will get worse because they keep attack the more advanced side. The advanced will keep exploiting this isn't a good look. 😂

Everyone does the exploits I speak about especially dribbling wise, go into rec no squads, theater or a random park game you will see the cheese playstyle. I’m no saint either I use dexing because it’s a op way to get open but for the dribbling aspect everyone cheeses to the point where I’ve learned dudes tendencies when they dribble because they all dribble the same and have the same sigs. Now is it all they’re fault no its half devs and a quarter of cheesers. Your not moving slow, you’re just moving how you would in real life not gliding across the court which is still done in 2k go look at gman and steezo dribble. Look at the best 2ks of all time there’s a pattern, all of them are realistic gameplay outside of 17 and 19 but the community overrates those games, 16,11,12,14,15,10 all realistic 2ks are the best 17 created this ultra cheesy gameplay. I don’t get your last comment idk if you worded it correctly but by advanced side I’m gonna assume you mean the cheesers. The devs has already slowed down the cheesers side hence why people left the game early, complained and called it trash because it was “too slow”. With pro play still in affect it will continue to get more realistic but 2k has to find the balance of arcade and sim which has been done in 2ks like 16,15, and 14.

Exactly. Cheesing is definitely weird but it’s almost like you have to do it to win, especially when you’re playing super sweats. We have to stop acting like post spins, drop steps , meter dunks, jabs, triple threats, and running fades isn’t cheese too. All which are involved in the sim play style. I can really go on and on about much more. But it’s not the other persons fault, it’s the companies. People can’t wrap their heads around that. They just want to point a finger cause they 💩 at the game.

But a lot of sweaties would come to a realization that they ain’t like that , and then will be on the casual 2k , pub stomping. If 2k just matched up everyone with win percentage that’s when a tough decision will have to be made .

Great point, but honestly 2k would never do this. Also the casuals would not do very well in the sim due to the smarter players, in arcade they would thrive a little more being able to cheese and copy everyone’s else’s builds, sigs, and playstyle.

If you decide to get healthy and go the gym , but still don’t fix your diet , you’ll never see your full results. 2k as a company is doing that , with simulation play style and arcade play style . Which is way we don’t ever get a true game .

@@EliteRolePlayer I can see it from both sides because I also play both sides I play a lot of my league and a lot of kids my age don’t even know what that is when they get 2k but I’m also really good at the cheese stuff because I’ve been playing 2k since 2k12 a lot of kids my age haven’t been playing that long so they’ve only seen one side of 2k realistically it don’t matter what side your on that makes u good it’s how much you win that makes you good so When u can do all the cheese stuff AND do all the old head stuff that’s when you actually get good at 2k because your right 2k will never choose a side they’ll just make the game in the middle so everyone buys it

When you have no competitors in your game feel , you have no choice but to incorporate all aspects to please everyone

But they wouldn’t because everyone would be on the same playing field , doing the same things they do , which is when the “ fun” leaves. Everything is fun until you have to play against someone who thinks just like you.

You show me a person who mimics what you see in real life and I’ won’t talk about it. I don’t have issues with play styles that focus on 3 point only or 2 point only . I have an issue with the way some folks decide to do it. Abusing broken mechanics in a game doesn’t make you a good player.

@@EliteRolePlayer Again, painting an unfair narrative, while the animation cancellation (what most people call cheese) is a medial issue. The larger issue at hand is that the devs don’t understand that people’s skill floor when it comes to shooting and shot creation are much higher than expected on both ends. So much so to where those two things combined with input repetition (You yourself have probably timed your jump shot hundreds of thousands of times over the years) Those things stick with the player base year after year so it should be expected and understood that players with a high skill floor will get tougher (and often times higher pure point rated) shots off consistently. Basketball is evolving and people play 2k for different reasons, no reason to force an issue and paint a picture as if either side isn’t skilled in their own regards. It isn’t cheese, just a specialized skill (same as being a talented lock, playmaker, post scorer or sharp) some people are extremely talented ball handlers and will continue to find new ways to move as quickly as possible, regardless of dev interface.

@@EliteRolePlayer These players would be good even without the abuse of mechanics because they aren’t abusing mechanics, the same way people claim that fading in the midrange or consistently using the dunk meter is broken, there’s fixes for that within the game, yet only one playstyle is looked as as mechanical abuse because it’s too efficient scoring wise, thus forcing the opponent to not have any room for mistakes. Good players will be good players regardless of mechanics, versatility in approach makes for a better environment for all. No reason to shun or take away from either side is what I’m saying Chief. All love, I finally stopped playing competitive pro-am this year for something more casual but the issue isn’t with mechanics, the player base has just gotten much better than the developers give people credit for and cannot find a balance within making both styles actually viable when they meet on the floor.

Guess what bro 2k allows you to do that. You’re legit mad that people play how they wanna play. Go make a pro-am teams and build it around the way u play it’s that simple no one is stopping u. Look at the RU-vidr laker fan he is a Center who is ball dominant inside post scorer it’s possible

That’s what I prefer, that’s what looks better, and that’s what I believe is more skillful. Those are also all my opinions before you disagree. My comment is on the fact that 2k has a ton of variety that the majority of its community doesn’t use. Everyone plays like “comp” players and when their one move is box they quit. I have 4 guys all goats in the rec winning 70%. I play proam with another group on a diamond status team that wins about 50% of the time, 60% during a good season. I have nothing to be mad at. Just boring playing the same team and same play style game after game cuz no one has their own identity and we mask it as “playing how they want to play” when in reality they playing the meta or using the exploits of the game.

You have to understand he’s either one of them , or desires to be one of them , and because I made a shoe that’s his size , he decided to wear it .

Imma tell you like they tell me . Get good at the game and stop being a grown man crying about a video game . If you want simulation basketball go outside and play 😂😂😂😂. I would love to see what some of those these RU-vid comment people could do in actual basketball because I’ve seen 2k league players and understand why they play 2k the way they do .

​@WhoadyMac You don't know basketball his stats shows he accounted for way more pts that spammy ass PG...Points and assists Add up.. 43 pts plus 16 assist at bare minimum that 32 pts in assists which is 85 pts by himself if its all 2's but it was also 3s so it's even more than that.. 50 pts is just 50 pts..

And I’m definitely in da middle i play rec 1s park and pro am im better den most ppl ive had a 70% all year in park and like 80% in rec and i shot 74% + and avg 25 in rec on both my rec builds and i see the gap consistently in rec randoms and ante up
