I swear Kane gotta be the most interesting individual in wwe, went from teacher to wrestler was an athletic force of nature , he won the WWF edition of The Weakest Link with the mask on along with his academic intelligence on full display, has an obsession with horror, played video games on the road, he's a mayor and now im finding he's a paint ball enthusiast? Idk where or how they found him but i thank the wwe for finding him.
its almost as if he's 3 dimensional like every human being ever to exist. Hes just man enough to express his 3 dimensions and not succumb to mediocrity for the sake of pleasing others
It’s so weird. Put all his wrestling stuff aside and as a person, he’s so damn likable but I disagree with his politics in just about every damn way. Like dude… you’re a walking paradox for me, lmao To top it off, I think he’s one of the few people in the business that most don’t have a bad thing to say about him, which is extremely rare.
This is a GREAT interview! I like how Paul is so polite, even when he doesn't have good stuff to say about another. I like his response about Jericho - "Uh.. don't meet your heroes. Loved him as a kid. Uh.. He'll talk enough about himself I'm sure.. What am I going to add to it?" Haha I believe Paul's words and reviews, of wrestler's, are honest and well stated.
I thought London was just going to bury a bunch of guys here but he was very fair in his assessments. I suspect the present day Triple H head of creative would have really liked a young Paul London because he does appreciate talent.
He's worse. He latches on to whoever is young and over to stay relevant. Kevin Owens becomes champ- Jericho buddies up to him. Kenny Omega, and the AEW execs. He'd weasel himself into anything if he could
I really like Paul London...but in terms of what he said, obviously never worked with him, but have met him numerous times and hung out with him at a concert once and he couldn't of been a nicer, more down to earth person. He seemed incredibly down to earth and silly. He had a conversation and sang with us for a good 45 minutes. He was a wicked sweetheart
You started out with, "In terms of what he said." Then you went into this entire description of what you assume his personality is like. WTF? How about go into details about. "in terms of what he said." What you said had absolutely NOTHING to do with "what he said." 🙄
I’m afraid to play Paintball with Kane because you already know that you’re gonna get lit up. Let’s hope Kane isn’t that dude that freezes his paintballs before playing.🤣
Funny hearing him say he never got to work w Undertaker. As a chilren in my SVR days I used to play Undertaker a lot (obv) and beat the absolute dogshit out of Paul. 6:34
I was kinda disappointed here, usually Paul never holds anything back in these kind of interviews, you can tell there was more he wanted to say about punk and Jericho...
Love his honest takes especially about legends. I always thought "how could WWE be so messed up backstage when Undertaker (revered) was the locker room leader throughout?". He would've had to be involved in letting stuff happen.
Undertaker often did some of the shit himself, including throwing Rene Dupree’s French flag into a toilet. And nobody would step up to him because “respect” or whatever (didn’t want to lose their jobs). Dude wasn’t as bad as Holly or JBL, but he was still up there with the other assholes that made the place miserable.
@CasualVideoGamer agreed. At any point of time, there'd be 100s of stories about a living juggernaut's respected generals that are kept under covers. Only if someone falls from grace, are they exposed. Example - hogan.
6:11 This has been my theory for the longest time. Taker was considered the leader, not because people gravitated to him and he would rally the troops, but because he was there the longest after everyone else left.
Interesting shoot interview. I loved what he said about Punk which is so accurate. Shooting on Taker is taboo because he’s heavily protected. No one dare say anything heinous about him so I get why Paul chose his words very carefully when talking about taker. Taker has that mafia/mob boss aura about him in that if you are on his good side then all is well but get on his bad side and he will ensure one his hitmen will sniper you in your sleep…. Which makes him even more terrifying.
London is spot on about Chris Jericho. The man has been exposing himself as the biggest mark in the business, super into favoritism and turns a blind eye to anything in regards to his "boys" and is a master politician backstage. Probably the reason why he and CM Punk dont get along, cause they both share the same mentality and two snakes never get along. The Bucks, Hangman Page and Kenny are also snakes and you see what happened at the All Out Scrum😂
There’s another side to this. Jericho May be self important but he’s donated $2,000-5,000 to multiple wrestlers medical bills who don’t have health insurance because of Vince. That alone makes Jericho redeemable
Besides which there are plenty of people who rate Jericho and give him the time of day. And frankly, if he is a bit of an egotist... Well, when you're that good, you deserve to be.
@@JeremiahEcks777 No level of stardom or talent means you can treat others like shit. Some of y’all WWE fans are delusional and so far gone from reality 💀
Hey gave money to Perry Saturn when he was down and out and when Umaga died..... he got the WWE ref to hand money to Umaga's wife. He never admitted this to anybody and jept it quiet. He is also 30 year friends with Lance Storm, Don Callis, Konan, Disco and Rey so he can't be a bad guy. Your problem is listening to the Mark's podcast rather than the "Boys" talk about Jericho!!! Fuqqin MARK....!!
Seems to me like Triple H didn't want to hurt London by telling him he wasn't on that level yet and tried to make up for t by kidding with him and upgrading his rooms. There is not a soul who could tell me that Triple H let them make the room mistake more than once....someone was watching out for London . London seems like a decent guy, but very insecure . Not that I blame him..the way the games are played there could screw anyone up.
Man , London is cool as shit . I've watched several other shoots he has done and some with Kendrick who I dig a lot too . And they are always entertaining . My first time ever hearing the " Please don't Die ! " chant was for London in early ROH !!! If anyone out there has heard that chant before his stuff , I would really be surprised and fascinated to know who ! Love ya Paul !!
I grew up watching this dude in the mid 2000’s always thought he was dope because of he’s style of wrestling. One of the best Cruiserweight’s of his era. He was the reason smackdown’s tag team was revolt !
Paul London is great. I use to wear a ref shirt to airports, shows, hotels. after seeing me enough he invited me to get food after a show really great down to earth guy
One thing I wont do but others will which is fine, is judge a wrestler because another wrestler gave his opinion on them. Its his opinion and his story. No one knows the truth but the people who have met these people. Just a thought
Velocity was my favourite show in the years after the Attitude era. Paul London was one of the best wrestlers on it. I know it was the Smackdown B show, but its where the best matches and some of the most interesting talents in the business were.
One of my favorite things about that era is that they (particularly on the Smackdown brand) really brought wrestling back after the Attitude Era, where I think the wrestling was minimized.
Any information about the people the Undertaker bullied (if that's the right word for it)? You don't tend to hear too much about anything like that about him
I would have to whip out a paintball Bazooka or some shit for Kane ! I bet money he has a camo Kane mask specifically for paintball ! How intimidating would that be lol !!! Kommando Kane unleashed with hi-tech paintball weapons ! It would almost be like running into Jason Vorhees in the woods .
I had to listen twice to make sure i wasn't dreaming or hearing things. Paul London is not roasting everybody. Why can't Paul be like this all of the time.
You're wrong, CM Punk was never a politicker, he was always super easy to get along with and always had everybody's back. Never made enemies. One of the greatest wrestlers to ever step into the squared circle. If you don't believe me, just ask CM Punk. He'll tell you.
Punk is an easy Target. If he was a politicker then why he had problem with management? This guy is still afraid to call out jericho triple h Undertaker john cena etc.

Seeing what he said about HHH & Jericho explains why 1 min they friends next min there is heat & then it’s we not friends but respect each other although I’m big on both(more of a HHH guy) I can see they both on the same coin but 1 is the head & the other just doesn’t want to be tails 😂💯
I know your biggest comment are "man i always watched you on velocity!" Id say the same homie, but mannnnn id always say to my buddies. Remember london? He needed a bigger push then what was given. Always had big big respect for ya
I'm not a huge fan of either but the rock gets a lot of heat but you have not seen the rock movies if that's your claim. I feel both have grown into greater performers but cut down the middle both have made movies playing themselves and it sells it sells 😊
I think it’s funny it’s never meet your heroes but I meant Paul and did a seminar with him and he was down to earth understanding and encouraging so yeah. Love you Paul!
He has to remember why he can have a job , Jericho, Eddie , Chris , Shane all got told they wouldn't, couldn't make never drew a dime but made it to the top so he had to sell himself and Batisa plays big guys like the rock same thing but many female wrestlers say bad thing so sometimes in people we like we don't see the bad because they don't do it to them , they all have good n bad sides part of being a human
I love how people say, Triple H is where he’s at because of Stephanie. Meanwhile everybody in that locker room had the same chance to get with her lol 😅😅 they just mad that he beat them to it
I've met a lot of names but Ric Flair drunk in a bar was the worst. Sexually aggressive to the young female bartender and just rude. Jimmy Hart is the nicest and most genuine. Meet a lot but that's the polar opposites I can think of.
Ric really believes he is still The Naitch and doesn’t realize he’s a 75 year old man and young woman don’t watch wrestling and thus don’t want to hook up with a self important perverted grandpa. I have no doubt he slayed into the late 90s but he was already an old man by the time he joined Evolution in 2003 so to see him still acting this way now is pretty sas
The Rock doesn't hold a candle to Batista's acting chops! Paul London, you are absolutely correct! Also, not many guys today would dare to say that of CM Punk whereas its just a fact, amd I'm with you on that one as well! But, even Punk is a better actor than the Rock! In fact, I quite liked Girl on the Third Floor, and even his itty bitty role in Jakob's Wife! That guy can emote well!
The titles of the sections when you fast forward are funny. There’s no undertaker section so if you jumped into the video like 70 percent through the cm punk section, you’re gonna think Paul has a lot of respect for him. “Don’t wanna cross the dog!” :p
a few takeaways I've gotten from these ex wrestler interviews: - kane is a genuine great guy. so is batista - cm punk is a bit of a prick - undertaker was respected - John Cena works really hard - Michaels has rubbed people off so wrong that people who've met him don't think his good guy run is honest
I mean some guys don't want to be pricks doesn't make them dishonest, if i'm a main eventer and you're a cruiserweight on Velocity and you ask me "when are we gonna have a match?" i have two options, i either lie to not be a prick and destroy your ego or i tell you to your face you're just a cruiserweight on velocity and i don't want to get booked with you because you're not on my league.
Idk but In my opinion why would say something but then make it seem like undertaker was a bad guy or something but you respect him?. When multiple people for years have said what a down to earth guy he is I’m confused
sounds like everyone was for themselves. that sparked the best talent of all time. now everyone wants to get along with every single person, and the talent are few and far between. i wonder if that has anything to do with anything
@@seanfrancisep these mfs can’t cut promos like they used to. Thats what I mean. They can wrestle and are the best athletes of all time but they don’t care to talk people into arenas like they used to
@@JR-he6fn Everybody is doing their best. Not everybody is going to be The Rock. Maybe if you wipe your shitty "impress me" attitude and just enjoy watching artists strive to improve their craft you'll probably find yourself enjoying them a lot more
