I love the Cheesecake Factory. Dietician Einstein and others should keep their nanny advice to themselves. Sure, restaurants should provide nutritional info for interested customers, but restaurants are not responsible for determining what people should or should not eat.

I've only ate there a couple of times, but someone mentioned below as you did in the video, the menu is overkill. Having a dozen options for every main course section of the menu is insanity. The tex mex egg rolls are surprisingly good though not gonna lie Edit: probably should clarify I don't agree with the basis of the video as far as diet advice goes. Everyone has a responsibility to know their own intake needs. I only think their menu is WAY too big.

Well the thing is if you are worried sooooo much about calories, sodium and loosing weight then don't eat at the Cheese cake factory. I myself, enjoy the Cheese cake factory every once in awhile. It's not like I eat this every day or eat that many calories/sodium every day. It's fine to spurge once in awhile. On the video I have only had the chicken pot stickers. Actually they really are good. Everything else I am not inclined to try. Although maybe I would try the cinnamon pan cakes

Exact)y! It's all health related. You don't go there to be healthy! We rarely go out to eat, & are good the rest of the time. Besides we take home most to add to meals through the week. Going once or twice a year won't kill me. Some restaurant needs to! If I was really worried about the health of this one meal, I'd stay home, or go elsewhere.

That was probably before their meals got smaller. I was served spaghetti that I ordered and was about as big around as a golf ball. The price of the spaghetti was large though and with a tip and around a four dollar coke it was really expensive spaghetti. Now if I want what I think is really great pasta I make it myself from scratch. I use quality double 00 flour that I purchase online.

As many have already said, you don't go to a place called "The Cheesecake Factory" to eat healthy. You go to treat yourself. And, in moderation, that's fine. I feel like depriving yourself and eating something comparatively healthier (but still unhealthy) from The Cheesecake Factory may be even worse. Because those people will have the false sense that they just ate a healthy meal and won't count that as their "cheat" meal

I worked there years and years ago. There was this dish called jamba rice that isn't on the menu but for whatever reason, the upstairs prep kitchen would cook it every morning. My section would secretly trade foods/ espresso drinks for it through the dummy waiter.

You shouldn't buy pasta from any restaurant in general. Pasta is an extremely cheap ingredient thats a filler base. Take this advice like a gold nugget. No matter what type of sauce they put on top it aint worth it.

Cheesecake Factory. ..the name alone tells ya..not healthy...which is why i dont go weekly. . its right next door to my favorite theater. .so we go after n split a dish...no popcorn at the movie cause we're going to eat after.. i love their crazy menu n will continue to go..especially since i dont eat at McDonald's, Jack n The Box, Wendy's or Burger King. How about including the whole truth with these stats? Unless you're the rare challenge eater, the average person cannot hold that much food at one sitting. The nutrition info given was for the whole dish. I'd wager CF spends a small fortune on take away containers.

I stopped going to The Cheesecake Factory around 15 years ago. There seemed to be a shift in ownership because the quality and taste of their food declined dramatically... I could tell they had started using low quality ingredients. Their food didn't taste the same. I'm not putting that garbage in my body!

I’ve never actually been to the cheesecake factory myself. I have been to another restaurant that sells cheesecake factory carrot cake, and it is awesome. I don’t care if it’s healthy or not because I have had it less than once a year. If I did go there, I wouldn’t be silly enough to think that I was going to get a healthy meal. It would be a treat and I would understand that.

Your loss. I worked there and can tell you everything down to the dressing is made fresh in the restaurant. They have a kitchen in the back where they prep and chop everything. I don’t work there anymore but will remain a customer for life. Also the way they treat their employees is bar non.

I worked as a server at Cheescake factory and can tell you that everything is made fresh! Down to the dressings and sauces. Veggies are all hand peeled and chopped right there. I don’t work there anymore but seeing how the food is made will forever keep me coming back there.

what a ridiculous video! no one goes to cheesecake factory everyday or while on diet. you go once in a while. I for one, who watches my weight daily and works out daily, appreciate a large high-calorie menu like this because when you want to splurge CF is there waiting with tons of delicious dishes!
