I have used BOTH and I prefer the feel of Elf! No irritation, no stinging or burning sensation at all. I love milk but when in comparison to Elf it loses every time. My skin is more on the dry/sensitive side!
The elf side did look better and more flawless your pores looked more blurred and less visible well at least from my POV. I’m definitely picking it up 😁
I dont know if I can trust her results because she did not use the Milk primer correctly. You are supposed to apply evenly on skin and let it absorb for one minute... instead she rubbed it in and blended it out. I went to Milk Makeup's RU-vid so I could learn how to use it because the whole "tacky grip" thing people keep saying about it made me wonder if there is particular technique to using it, and sure enough, there was.
This was such a great review beautiful. I personally have both the elf mint cooling primer and the power grip. Both are so good. So glad I didn’t grab the milk because I personally don’t think primer has to be super expensive with so many good drugstore primers on the market.
You always look beautiful even at 2:00 am!!! And I agree- the Elf side looked more pigmented... simply gorgeous.. not that the other side was not gorgeous as well.. the Elf side just had a slight edge! Happy New Year! May 2022 bring you everything that you want !💚
Thank you so much beauty! I always appreciate your kind words they truly mean so much to me! Happy New Year to you as well!!! Wishing you all the best this year!
I have a super dry skin and tried both. Milk gripped my makeup like a lock and I didn't apply setting spray. Elf also did great job but my makeup vanished after couple of hours....felt sad about the drugstore.
I love this comparison. To me the Elf side looked significantly better than the Milk. From the beginning when it was just primer on your face it looked natural. The foundation looked much more like your skin was showing through naturally pretty, and the Milk looked heavier and shinier all the way through-drawing attention to the makeup rather than your face. Hands down Elf for me. Thank you this was great 😊
I love milk primer mostly because i have dry/dehydrated skin and I don’t break out also with milk primer i would suggest to use milani matte primer spray it works amazingly good.
Alot of people dupe the milk hydro grip with the elf jelly pop or the elf mint primer. And some compare it to the hard candy hydrating primer. Which some say the hard candy is better because it's gripping but also hydrating.
You still look amazing! I do want to see how it works with powder to know if it’ll break apart eventually, or just stay put and leave more of a subtle inner glow. So promising though, and can’t beat that price. Edit: Also want to know if it works when foundation’s applied using a brush, since it’s so grippy. I’m more of a brush person.
I got the elf grip primer and the milk make up hydrogrip today. The milk makeup is stickier but it stung (maybe the alcohol in it?) And the elf felt more hydrating but with a cooling effect (the mint and menthol in it). I'm thinking of sending the milk makeup back because of the stinging.
You literally slept till 2am and you still look amazing, you go girl ! Dios te bendiga siempre munueka and most of all Have a blessed and 💥✨Happy New Year 2022”✨💥
i definitely have to try this primer and i already put it in my cart. what eyeshadow are you wearing??? thank you so much and happy belated birthday, sweetheart!!! 🤎🤎🤎
milk has more ingrediants for skin care from what i read. they are marketing skin care like blue agave . niamicide. and hylauronic acid. while elf has hylauronic acid. so for me i would rather do a all in one product
😍First Comment😍 Stunning thumbnail tho Your Beyond Beautiful you are Makeup always on Point EnJoy your night Too Happy Fabulous Weekend ahead 😇Be Bless n Stay safe always😇
I wonder if this would make my face itch? Taylor wynn recommended the elf mint cooling as a dupe for milk but everytime I wear it it makes me so itchy 😳🧐
i let mine set for about a minute and then i apply concealer on top. it may be different if you’re using foundation instead of concealer and also if you’re using too much primer/ not letting it set in
I just subscribed... I actually have super super oily skin 42 years old and I just have always needed blotting paper.. I can tell you people that I put on my make up at 7 AM and I barely barely have to blot any oil throughout the day this s*** is amazing don't get it confused with the jelly pop whatever that s*** was I think they just discontinued it was not good for oily skin this blue stuff is amazing.
I’m having a huge problem with the milk primer 😭 I put it on and let it sit then when I put my foundation it was sooooo horrible . Am I doing something wrong 😭 what the heck
i heard since they’re water based, your foundation also needs to be water based. it could be because your foundation has a silicone base! so maybe do some research on your foundation :)
@@haevyn1846 yes I was thinking it had to do something to do with that...like milk primer is hydrating but the concealer is matte maybe i need a matte primer
@@feefee2 i think so! i’ve never used the milk primer or anything but i have oily skin so i use matte products, that’s why i don’t know whether or not to buy it
