got a four wide little guy four years ago pulled it appropriately 30,000 miles with a Honda goldwing 1800 trike no problem pulling.must give yourself time to stop.came with cheap ass tires my dealer replaced them with good ones at his expense.love it. lowered and shorted hitch to fit trike
I have a vintage 1947 teardrop and I just love her. saw the tag when it first came out and there very nice. The bet thing i like about the big tag is, you can stand up in it and storage, but I like my kitchen a lot better, it's more like camping, no fridge, plugs hook up or anything the tag has,but i would love a second one and Tag looks great. will be checking them out soon.
I wonder how this little camper would do in a severe thunderstorm with high winds? This is a legitimate question, and I am not demeaning this little trailer one bit. My wife and I love this concept and are seriously considering purchasing one. We do however live in the Midwest which is famous for strong thunderstorms.
Bought a Silver Shadow version from Little Guy. Nothing but trouble! The outer aluminium shell oxidises because they mixed the metals. Created huge holes in the shell! The hatch leaks. Water pools in the door wells when it rains so you get wet when exiting and getting in. Little Guy wouldn't even fix it! Windows are hard to open. Condensation forms on the inner walls at night if fan isn't running or windows aren't open so it gets cold in chiller climes. Paid a lot of money for crap! Would not recommend!
As a custom golfcart builder in Florida, I had a customer bring his teardrop up to my shop where I extended his towbar tongue 4.5' foot with a drop ramp gate on the side to haul his golfcart with him. Mind I had to fab a little wider to accommodate just over 7' and of course reinforce frame front to back. Thought axle may need moved forward but worked great, as long as you load it with trailer empty due to his towing package the extra tongue weight caused it to pull much much better he claims? Now I want one too... lol ;p
I think this is a really great idea, but for a new one 25K is way to much. I had a fellow tiny house enthusiast decided he wanted the ability to go anywhere but wanted something that was easier to move. He found a used commercial sprinter diesel van and converted it. He even has a shower, sit down of course(on the toilet) but still that's cool! He built it himself and spent a total of around 20k. But that's including adding 4 wheel drive and solar panels,LED lights, sink, closets, three stove top propane cooker (from a sailboat i think), Non pop up top(15k!! to do that to his van) and all the tech like sound system, TV, some kind of satellite system that was made for a adventure motorcycle rider to use as his WiFi network. its not sports mobile (AWESOME), but he helps build houses with his uncle so he knows far more than i would. I am just saying that in MY reality, I cant put 25K into this Cool little guy when i know what i could just do myself and build it as the money allows knowing i don't need a bank loan. Thanks for the great video!!
Well tha'ts a great story thanks for sharing, You'll be happy to know that the MSRP on these are only a little bit over 13K. hwhrv.com/rvlist.php?sh=1&dsgn=NEW&ymin=0&ymax=0&tp=&mfg=&brand=TAG&store=&frmsub=Submit
It's awesome but the only problem is locks the outlet and all the doors. He didn't mention any locks. I'm from Arizona and the ac unite is an awesome addition
I may consider getting one of these once I seek better employment. These would come in handy for my WV trips as the parking and the drive way is kinda tight where I go in WV. But that will be once I get my new Ford F150.
I like that can you do a video of how the ac drains, and with the ac so far forward does it work against it's self since the unit will pull cold air thru the cooling vents for the cooling system. It seems that the big fan on the coils would pull out so much air. I want one of those campers and just as soon as I can will have one.
heads up I prefer the GIdget from Australia. Bigger cooler, and the TV/Radio swivel from inside to outside is just to cool. To be able to sit in a chair out side and watch a movie or radio under the stars before going to sleep, instead of being forced to go inside to watch it. But still have that choice to use it inside or out.
These little tear drop units are nice but the price is crazy!!! Most of them are more than bigger travel trailers with much more to offer than a little tear drop like this.
I don't think a lot of people are getting the point of this. It's convenient and it's towed with just about anything. It's a nice option. It actually gets old watching someone pull a house behind a huge fuel guzzling truck.
Had a 1977 vw van bigger than that paid 400 dallors for it. Just need new break pads. If going to spend night out just put cusion for bed had a little gril, icechest, bucket lol Did not need a lot went back forth from hilo to kona Hawaii just me and my son the beach and stars at night chilling on top of the van lol. It all depends on your budget and comfort.
Again in its own way, Disabled accessible and friendly, even to a wheelchair user too, as well as a small caravan just right for Gurkha's too, next question are they available in either or both the United Kingdom or Nepal?.
Any possibilities of someone living on a fixed income buying a do-it-yourself shell, and complete as our budget allows? or should start from a frame up?
There should be two fans for circulation, one to pull fresh air in, another fan to suck the bad air out. A trailer like this shouldn't cost anymore than 19,000.00 Tops!
I think they are actually in the low to mid teens. The bigger TABs that have a shower and toilet and you can stand up in them are High teens to low 20s
exactly what i would like to travel in soon as kids are all out of the home, only thing raising 5 daughter's through school and vehicles isn't leaving enough savings to afford a completed model. At best I would like to buy just a shell that I can complete as funds allow or will have to use my 5 x 10 trailer and follow the youtube
I wish they used a VFD driven compressor in the AC to be able to run if off a small Honda generator or even solar (with properly sized Li-Ion batteries).
No restroom there, and no way to fold up the bed & have a sit/office space for at least one interviewer. Also, what is the smallest microwave? It looks quite useful, I would not criticize it.
Gostei do video, de coração! Não para de produzir, com o tempo a gente aprende um monte de coisa novas e evolui muito... parabéns pelo canal, até logo!
That's real nice for getting out in nature and roughing it what with the satellite tv, city water and outdoor kitchen. That's getting back to nature. LOL. I've never used the term camping and luxurious in the same sentence before. Ha
Hi this is Yousef Almohandis from Saudi Arabia would you please a so kind tell how much the Unit exact like the video including shipped to Jeddah Port , and do you looking for the dealer for this product at Gulf Area ???? Cheers
how much to buy one. how much with all the stuff you need to pack would this weigh. do they come wioth all iluminum to be light, wood is too heavy can we tosw this wiyh a honda civic
I couldn't buy one of these "nice little" trailers. I still have a bladder and a colon! No nice little toilet means you go outside and use the nice little kitchen sink? And just how big is the nice little gray water tank for that nice little kitchen sink? At least I can plug in all of my nice little electronic devices. ;)
all I want is a comfortable safe bed and a little kitchen to cook something simple...theres allways some public showers nearby and I can shit in the woods.(excuse my french)...these tear drops are cool and cheap
Tag your it! LOL I Think it's cute but for a 2015 model, they should have had satellite radio, usb connection, internet and defiantly a touch screen. The kitchen outside is clever but they should have it two way. A way to cook on the inside at least with a microwave with vents to outside.
