I project one’d this bike with the rsl 37, ultegra and blue/white paint scheme. This bike is phenomenal!! It is quick, stiff and fasssst!! Power transfer baby!!
Looks like all the other bikes, wouldn’t it be better to allows us to spec the bike how we want it. Like select the crack lengths, bar width, stem length, saddle and wheels. This would be game changing. You buy a 58cm bike and it comes with 44cm bars and 175 cranks which only a small amount of people need.
It does look nice, but ultimately its a heavyweight climbing bike for give or take 6k. I wouldn't get fixated on frame weight which is usually @ 10% of the complete bike weight.
Which is the best road bike of trek for climbing up hills? Am a beginner and find trek 1.1 quite difficult for uphill climbing! Any advice would be appreciated! 😊
This bike was really easy to assemble ru-vid.comUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
Not everyone can afford the super high cost of top end group set. Infact, unless you are paid racer or have money to spare, you wouldn’t need top tier group set as ultegra or force offers almost same capabilities and performance as top tier.
@@appala I get that. But if someone can’t afford a top end group set, why would they be interested in a $3k+ frameset? The whole point of buying a frameset at that price is that every gram is squeezed out of it. But all that attention to making the bike super light is kind of messed up when the same consideration is not applied to the other components on it. Doesn’t make sense.
@@RB-xv4si for the most part, I agree but this is a business decision to fill the gap. Essentially, they have an emonda from 2k all the way to 13k and these models serve a great purpose. They are an enticement for users. With just a few hundred dollars, you have an upgrade, and then another few hundred, another upgrade.. you see the point I am trying to make? Its the same thing like Apple. They have base iPhone which is almost worthless memory space but then at 100 more, you get double memory.
