Yeah same hear mate , had sports bikes for years then, as you get older, started liking and riding the naked bikes, the multistrada’s looks are growing on me but to ride they are so good , they literally do everything you want them to do, and thanks, really appreciate it :)

They are so nice to ride , just effortless to go at a good speed , yeah why we always get the new bikes in the winter I don’t know… I like it a bit warmer then freezing !! Yeah I probably ride the monster most now when I go out but that may all change with the Streetfighter V2 coming, got a feeling that’s gonna be something special to ride, thanks and to you… looking forward to doing all the new videos :)

I put a Mivv on my ‘20 950S and man.. it’s perfect. Took out the baffles and it has the nicest, crispy rumble. Not obnoxious loud.

Tbh I haven’t ridden it again yet as the weather has t been too good to see and wasn’t really riding it on too bumpy roads but was fine when I was riding it

The V2 is a bit better all round with the small changes but the 950 is still a great bike , and if you haven’t ridden the V2 you won’t know the changes anyway… for that kind of money it’s either a New V2 or a used 950s with probably some extras , can’t really say what’s best to do …well the V2s with extras but then your £15k+ … the S models are better so if that’s what u want get the 950s.. and yes they have cornering abs :)

I for me it’s ok but I’m used to riding twin cylinder bikes, they don’t particularly like low revs but I really like riding them.. it’s the nature of the beast :)

Tbh they are the same, I find that there is some wind buffering on all these styles of adventure bikes depending on speed ,what height you have the screen and your height etc, they do have different screens , tbh sometimes the wind buffering is less with a smaller screen on these bikes rather then buying a bigger screen

No they don’t come with them as standard, have have a button on the switch gear for them but they have to be fitted , or I think they also come as part of the touring pack for the Multistrada

We are just waiting for a couple to be delivered , as soon as we get them we will do some videos … a couple have been ordered with loads of extras going on them too :)

Was actually out on a 1200 pikes peak not too long ago and it felt awesome 😎 it had done about 30km and felt like new

@@ProjectMoto bought the Ducati with 22.000 miles ,many options and paid 10 grand for it . Had some drama last year when the alternator failed😦😦😦 part came in a kit , rotor and stator 900 $$$$ but all good. We are heading out to California from Pennsylvania again next summer 😀😀😀😀😁😁🏍🏍🏍🏍🍺🍺🍺

Thanks , yeah I’m on tip toes on the 950, the V2 is better and the lowering kit on the V2 is another 40mm which will lower it a lot, the V4 is ok for me with just the seat in the lower position, not sat on one with a lowering kit but imagine would be better still

Right I think after the first service the normal oil change etc are annually or 9k miles (15k km) and valve clearance every 18k miles (30k km) but I will check at the shop tomorrow

Well the V4 is a better bike , but that doesn’t mean that’s the best bike for everyone, is the V4 needed for what most people use it for? probably not, some are going to like the V4 engine and some the V2 , just depend a on what you want from a bike, V4 is more powerful but is heavier ..and of course what your budget is !!

The problem is most find out the limit a little too late, for me the cold is not too bad it’s just when the roads are damp and slippery/greasy , the shine on a road when the sun is low sometimes makes you think it’s worse then it is,I kinda treat it like it’s raining … sometimes 😂, but when it’s cold but it’s dry I don’t really ride much different , messing about with tyre pressures I don’t do on the road but that’s down to an individual’s preference, sometimes just thought the pressure is right for conditions is enough for some people in their head to make a difference for them even if it’s not actually doing anything really , I did try ringing u back the other day … the chances of an adventure at the moment are slim… think my family would want a holiday first if I had any spare time or the chance to go somewhere 😂😂

Ha…well they are tinted reservoirs , but that’s actually my tea to warm me up ! :)

@@ProjectMoto On the V4 the fluid in the rear reservoir goes dark just from the heat coming off the engine and pipes. It's a Ducati thing. Another nice video!

@@ProjectMoto I'm 5'6 a seat at 81cm or 79 will be suitable for me? I owned a ktm smt 990 with a seat height at 85cm and I was tiptoed but I did my job..

@@spearfisring tbh all I can suggest is go to a Ducati dealer and try sitting on one, or even getting a test ride , it’s hard to say what is ok for someone as everyone is different how they are built, leg length etc..it’s definitely better for me then the 950
