NEW 2024 Ascendo Audio Home Theater Speakers and Subwoofers 

I had a chance to hear an Ascendo home theater through a connection to the installer. The owner was in their winter home so this home was vacant. These speakers are designed for large home installations for customers who tell their designer to "give me a home theater" and let them work with an integrator. Few of these clients pay much attention to "specs" but want something better than their neighbors. The home I was in had an owner who knew they wanted cinema THX certification so the quality of the sound at high SPLs was impressive but what got me was the extremely LOW noise floor! The room had a spaciousness to it but whisper quiet movie tracks like A Quiet Place were so amazing. The dynamic range from the Ascendo's was impressive. I think they said it was the THE12 Be PRO Passives for bed layers (9?) with their THE6 PRO for ceilings. Subs were all THE 18 Sub PRO Actives (4). Trinnov PRE/PRO with ATI amps and a Kaleidescape. Control 4. Pretty awesome.

Ascendo makes some really great speakers. Geoffrey mentioned you have the 10s in your theater, maybe you’re using them again? All that aside, this is a really good video. Thanks for putting it together

Great Lineup. Can you combine 3 of the 10pro with 2 of the 6 pros and the „old 6 wedge and the 16 Sub from the end end of the video? And where to demo hear it in Germany? Or are 5x 6pro the better option in a 4x6m living room? Problem is to find a acoustic transparent high contrast screen.

can all subs in the passive range cover full bandwidth? I know ascendo love the kick sub/infrasonic sub but a lot of us want to just cover full bandwidth form 5hz to 120hz with all subs.
