@@musikstation2050 sadly, the starting with launch control is kinda useless, winning the rolling race is way more important. Why ? Simply on circuits the rolling accelerations is what make the difference, when racing your own car.

@@souyas175 Perhaps because the BMW isn't a supercar (although depending on which definition you go with none of these would really be supercars, just 3 sports cars and a GT). You would expect the BMW to lose to all these cars. GTs are meant to be relatively fast but also comfortable for long road trips. Sports cars are meant to be faster, but less comfortable and more ideal for track/racing. As such it's not really "bad" by any stretch that the BMW lost.

I love 911s but It doesn't really go like an R8. It lost in a standing drag race by half a second and it finished last in the rolling race (which is a real life overtaking situation) and it doesn't sound nearly as good as the R8. You get what you pay for in the end.

@@BlitzkriegRap Yes, and you pay less than 100k for that 911, so you really get more than you pay for with it. A Turbo S would be more similar price to the R8 and would walk it (580hp instead of just 450hp in the 4S).

Jonny Oliveira Horsepower isn’t everything in a drag race. High amounts of torque and being able to reach that high level of torque at a low Rpm is. ( and putting your power down).

He did start terribly, but the reason why the NISMO is slower than the standard car is downforce. NISMO provides more downforce than the standard car because of the big spoiler in the back. That's good for lap times, but bad for drag races.

Moral of the story, if you or any other person sat in the driver seat you would get the exact same outcome. Nah You don’t tune a Porsche you just need to upgrade the model . there is the gts, the turbo , the turbo s, targa 4s, carrera 4 gts , targa 4 gts, and gt3 , gt3 rs , gt4 , gt4rs, gt2, gt2rs , boxster, boxster s, boxster gts , cayman gts , cayman s , ect… a better option instead of tuning a porsche

Too bad BMW V8's blow up. Have they fixed the rod bearings, yet? I would have bought an F10 M5 if they didn't have such catastrophic failures. To be clear, I race a BMW, I put almost 100k miles on an E39 M5, I've owned two X5's, and I have owned at least three E46's. I've had my share of BMW's, but I switched to Porsche because of how badly BMW botched their new V8's.
