The KHOU 11 Weather Team continues to track Tropical Storm Beryl as it moves toward the Texas coast. It's expected to make landfall as a Cat. 1 hurricane. More: www.khou.com/article/weather/...
The city removes branches and debris. Center point only isolates/repairs lines. I work for a city and we will be at work until this storm passes. I see centerpoint every day while at work, you have no idea the workload those guys have. Residents are never grateful for what they have and just expect everything to be done instantly like these crews dont have far larger jobs that are more important. Give those guys a break
@@Invrexs 😂 Damn straight! There are always gonna be whiners and complainers while those who get things done are going above and beyond solving our problems. If all those who complain would get together and use just half the energy they put in to their crying and complaining and instead use it to help fix the problem, things like that branch would be forgotten history.
I was wondering why KHOU had so many meteorologists all on shift at the same time and thinking maybe they should spread them out a little. This is gonna be a marathon and not a sprint. Then I checked their staff, on the website. They have a DEEP Wx squad at Ch.11. So they're good. 😎☺️
@@Rikkisio There are potential tornados and up to 75mph hurricane force winds. Boards wouldn't hurt. No telling if such weather will affect your specific area though. SE TX structures probably need permanent heavy-duty shutters for all windows, so nobody needs to bust out big pieces of wood and nails for each storm. Or else those hurricane-proof windows. Of course, none of those will help you if a tree falls through your roof...
Ya wanna bet that is only going to last like a hr , they got ppl going to the store to empty it out , buying alot of waters just for it to be an hour long
@@archiecoolsdown5854 Meh, it's just a gemstone like Esmeralda/Emerald, Opal, Pearl, or Ruby. Probably a low budget rock compared to those, but still pretty, just the same. I'd rather look at it from afar though, and not up close and personal!
The forecast of the hurricane path been wrong all month saying Yucatan then Mexico how did we get to Houston. This could have all been avoided with Real Facts. This forecasters with those models were so off all around the country. Clearly more research is needed for the forecasting going forward. It's pretty important to know where massive potential life changing storms are going before hand. 💦💨💭🏝🏜⏳️
@@Graeberwave the victim mentality and complaining gets old. If you aren’t satisfied with your current living arrangements, change them. This isn’t rocket science.
@@EZ_Case yea dude, victim mentality. Moving is that easy huh! Why can’t everyone be a rugged individual LIKE YOU!? Anyways, quick question tough guy behind a keyboard: was the election stolen?
@@EZ_Case it’s funny because the same people screeching about a “victim mentality” are the same people whose accusations are just their confession. You’re ALWAYS claiming to be a victim of some fake bs. Wanna play a game and see what I mean? I’ll embarrass you. I promise you got the wrong video to comment on with that bs.
Midafternoon Prayer Ribbon Placement: Liturgy of the Hours Vol. III: Ordinary: 659 Complementary Psalter: 1295 (Series III, Midafternoon) Psalter: Sunday, Week II, 841 (reading) and 452 (concluding prayer) Midafternoon Prayer for Sunday in Ordinary Time using Complementary Psalmody God, come to my assistance. - Lord, make haste to help me. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: - as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. Alleluia. HYMN See, here I am. See, here I am. See, here I am, Lord, I come to do your will. See, here I am. See, here I am. See, here I am, Lord, I come to do your will. See, here I am. See, here I am. See, here I am, Lord, I come to do your will. See, here I am. See, here I am. See, here I am, Lord, I come to do thy will. Lord, Teach Us To Pray. "Lord, thy holiest will always be done in us." Making it real, live, quick and right, right now. PSALMODY Ant. 1 The Lord has done great things for us; he is the source of all our joy. Psalm 126 Joyful hope in God Companions with him in suffering, you will share his over-flowing happiness (2 Corinthians 1:7) When the Lord delivered Zion from bondage, it seemed like a dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, on our lips there were songs. The heathens themselves said: “What marvels the Lord worked for them!” What marvels the Lord worked for us! Indeed we were glad. Deliver us, O Lord, from our bondage as streams in dry land. Those who are sowing in tears will sing when they reap. They go out, they go out, full of tears, carrying seed for the sowing: they come back, they come back, full of song, carrying their sheaves Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: - as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. Ant. The Lord has done great things for us; he is the source of all our joy. Ant. 2 May the Lord build our house and watch over our city. Psalm 127 Apart from God our labors are worthless You are God’s building (1 Corinthians 3:9) If the Lord does not build the house, in vain do its builders labor; if the Lord does not watch over the city, in vain does the watchman keep vigil. In vain is your earlier rising, your going later to rest, you who toil for the bread you eat, when he pours gifts on his beloved while they slumber. Truly sons are a gift from the Lord, a blessing, the fruit of the womb. Indeed the sons of youth are like arrows in the hand of a warrior. O the happiness of the man who has filled his quiver with these arrows! He will have no cause for shame when he disputes with his foes in the gateways. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: - as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. Ant. May the Lord build our house and watch over our city. Ant. 3 Blessed are those who fear the Lord. Psalm 128 Happiness of family life rooted in God “May the Lord bless you from Zion,” that is, from the Church (Arnobius) O blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways! By the labor of your hands you shall eat. You will be happy and prosper; your wife like a fruitful vine in the heart of your house; Your children like shoots of the olive, around your table. Indeed thus shall be blessed the man who fears the Lord. May the Lord bless you from Zion all the days of your life! May you see your children’s children in a happy Jerusalem! On Israel, peace! Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: - as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. Ant. Blessed are those who fear the Lord. READING 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 God is the one who firmly establishes us along with you in Christ; it is he who anointed us and has sealed us, thereby depositing the first payment, the Spirit, in our hearts. Sacred Silence (indicated by a bell) A moment to reflect and receive in our hearts the full resonance of the voice of the Holy Spirit and to unite our personal prayer more closely with the word of God and public voice of the Church. The Lord is my light and my help. - He is the protector of my life. CONCLUDING PRAYER O God, who in the abasement of your Son have raised up a fallen world, fill your faithful with holy joy, for on those you have rescued from slavery to sin you bestow eternal gladness. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. - Amen. ACCLAMATION - always added when other acclamation is not - Let us praise the Lord. - And give her our love, allegiance, loyalty and thanksgiving. The Guardian Spirit 🦋 07/07/2024. 14:44. PM.
