Don't think I would be happy with £300 boots and stitching coming undone already! I've had some O'Neal Sierra pro boots for over a year now and still solid and we're £180. Super comfortable and waterproof
I use the Gaerne 12s which are getting more comfortable as I wear them in. Not waterproof, but I wear seal skins because I work on the principle that water will eventually get over the top anyway and a wet goretex boot is no better than a wet non-goretex boot.
Love my Gaerne Dakars, a great lightweight waterproof tourer with a little extra reinforcement. It's like putting slippers on after wearing my stompy MX guys around.
Been looking for a new boot with some actual grip on the sole and you can walk in, my current Alpinestars are very comfortable (when riding) and waterproof, but there's no grip and the are not fun to walk in. Might give these a go.
See where the lower strap is stitched in under the leather? That strap will tear off easily as the needle has neatly perforated the plastic strap. These boots look very much like my pair of Forma boots and a couple of those straps have failed in that manner in quick time. Good luck with yours.
It'll do, won't it? No, not for me. £330 and the falter at the first hurdle......Get them swapped over Nathan, then we'll know if it's a one off problem, or a design issue.
