The 6505 II has that Legendary metal tone that we ALL crave from the early 90’s that does that chug thing perfectly every time! Hope y’all enjoy sharing the moment as I dial in my new amp! This video features my 1989 MIJ Charvette by Charvel and it just has a pummeling sound and the feel is perfect for Metal especially with its super fast maple neck! Thanks for checking out the 6505 II with me! So it’s pretty much got a permanent spot in the studio now, because it’s perfect for the way I write and the tones are aggressive and extremely punchy! I’m always after amps that DO THAT CHUG THING! 🤘🤘🤘

Wish I could like it, but alas, I live standing in front of a cranked Diezel vh4. Ruined everything for me. 😢 It's great playing, though. 👍

No problem their two completely different amps. I’m a big fan of Diezel as well but something about that 6505 circuit just growls and has a ton of aggression and I love it. Thanks for watching the vid. 🤝

Could hear your guitar’s string sound while playing through the amp. I assume you used a room mic sound vs a close mic setup, which is fine. It’s nice to hear an amp in the room too. But the amp post gain must have been a bit low to have hear the strings and speakers at equal volume. Sounds great but would have been nicer more cranked.

Thanks man! Volume was not equal by any means it’s sensitive though running it a pinch under 2 on the dial over 3 is extremely loud in my home studio. However I’m using 2 different room mikes a RØDE shotgun condenser and a Shure 180 degree room mic as well and since they close sometimes you hear the plucking or twang on my higher strings. Glad you enjoyed the video.
