For anyone trying to hack past april 2024, and there are two files you have to make a file called "payloads" and put both of the files in there, instead of what he put in there.

For those having problems with the finalized link: you have to make a new folder in the luma folder and name it payloads and copy the two finalizing files in there (you might have to install luna I don't remember) the instructions should be on that same "finalized" link. hope this helps!

Not even a minute into the video and I already have problems. My 2ds doesnt recognize my microSD (64 gb Kingston). Exactly at 2:09 where the lil message appear, for me it just says that the SD couldnt be detected... help 😓😓

There are a couple reasons as to how this can happen so let me help... Use a Fat32 formatter for the SD card you are using, I find GUI Formatter to be very good, and try not to go beyond 128gb. Make sure the SD Card lock is not engaged, it's like a little red 'switch' on the side of the SD card. If those don't work, put your SD card into the PC and you'll need to unlock the SD card and change it to not read only. To do this do the following. 1. Windows + R and Enter CMD 2. Type 'diskpart' and press enter 3. Type 'list disk' and press enter 4. Type 'select disk #' and press enter >ENSURE YOU SELECT THE CORRECT DISK DRIVE< 5. Type 'clear attribute readonly' and press enter Once that has been done, proceed with the video from the beginning. If this doesn't work, make sure the SD card isn't damaged or broken, or, purchase a new SD card and ensure you follow the video correctly. I hope I could help, all be it late.

For anyone past April 2024 doing this I suggest reading the script he gives you (it’s in the video description) by the very ending of the modding process. It will not work if you just follow the video past April 2024, as there are some other steps you must do by the end of the script. PLEASE follow the script or else I don’t know what might happen: maybe your 2ds/3ds might get bricked :/

u can use these videos but while following the tutorial, keep the website up and follow that at the same time just to double check that you’re doing it right.. not that the people in the videos are wrong, but the steps to mod a DS literally get changed constantly so just make sure.

7:53 If you see 2 files just 1.Power off your console 2.Insert your SD card into your computer 3.Copy finalize.romfs to the root of your SD card 4.Open the luma folder on your SD card and create a folder named payloads inside, if it does not already exist 5.Copy finalize_helper.firm to the payloads folder 6.Reinsert your SD card into your console and you will be ok.

I've tried everything to stop the infinite loading after reinserting the sd card, I have a 128gb sd card that is formatted in fat32 and l've tried freeing up excess data, as well as removing mset9 between attempts and nothing works.

Guys where he says "DONT TOUCH" i touched it to see if mii maker is there, and that basically froze it. Then i removed the mset9 payload and deleted all files and did again but now when i go on Data managment > 3ds > extra data it infinitely loads.

Hi! Cus it’s past April 2024 follow the script in the description CAREFULLY by the place where you are at in the modding process. You can still do it. I did it 2 days ago and it worked. Just it’s a little different

Not sure if this was the part I did that took a while to load, but in some steps I had to wait 15 minutes so I think ur fine

@@prodby.zartbeatz9513 hey bro I am stuck on the part where u have to insert the SD card to the ds and I can't get the black screen on my ds? it keeps loading for a long time and can't get passed through it and I have a 2ds and did all the same steps but I am stuck on 6:27 it's my first time trying to mod my 2ds I would really appreciate for your help!!!
