Here is the new Aston Martin Vantage flat out on a wet but awesome track! The new Vantage runs a 503bhp 4.0l Twin Turbo V8 with an 8 Speed automatic gearbox. The car I was driving was fitted with the optional carbon ceramic brakes and sports exhaust!

Thanks again, unsurprisingly sounds great. What ever format, car or output that AMG engine is in, it’s just fantastic. The torque is so dense, it really often wants to step out in any conditions. I’ve had it light up the wheels in fourth, in wet, at 70mph with partial throttle. So on a wet track it looks a handful. Cheers 👍

Would love a video where you talk about your camera setups and gear etc. maybe even a little tip and tricks for beginners, I've found I enjoy playing with camera's a lot more than I thought I would. Your shots look so incredible, crisp, clean, sharp! I've got Nikon D5600, and am hooked.

It would be great to go back to the source where the Vantage was built. The heart that's the people that brought this beautiful beast of engineering into reality. A sort of POV so we the viewer appreciate more the New Aston Martin and what lies ahead for the future. My suggestion. (BTW I have taken to heart the "YES MAN" mantra! Thank you for that!)

I haven't seen a new Vantage yet, but based on the videos it looks like AM didn't quite get the styling of the front quite right. Seems like they tried for the traditional AM grill and missed it ever so slightly. I like the rear view better than the front view, but maybe that's what AM was aiming for...

Hey James, did you know that theoretically there is no difference in between Dual-Clutch- and e. g. a Torque-Coverter-Transmission. It's a question of the setup, that's it.

Personally i would like to see the panels on this car to line up in a organized fashion. Some gaps are just too wide and i heard it being mentioned in some reviews too. The absence of the glovebox is also a weird decision, not like the Vantage is overflowing with storage.

I've no doubt you could track the Vantage but I think I would prefer a road biased spec just because I think it would be better in the road scenario. As for the gearbox a lot of manufacturers are going away from DCT transmissions just because the 8 speed ZF is so complete and lighter why wouldn't you use it.

Awesome video! This is now reviews should be done, combined with road driving, hell even with city driving. After its secondarily a track car. Maybe thirdly. Oh, its power, not torque that's making it ballistic. Im sure Ive potentially started some shit!
