I think this is one of the few good things coming out of new stuff for 2023, it’s so nice to hear Disney’s bringing back some history to the park I feel like lately they’ve been getting rid of so much wonderful history that it feels like all they have are attractions correlating to popular movies made rather than giving rides and attractions the attention they need it’s so nice to see smaller parts of Disney get some recognition

Hoping this is a turn for Disney and wdi bringing original ideas back in the parks. It would be nice if they could make a good balance between ip and original ideas

I don't think many people care about ip in the parks it just has to fit the location. For instance Encanto has nothing to do with adventure or exploration and therefore just feels shoehorned for promotion, tarzan fit the theme better and swiss family robins also works.

My dad has always been a big fan of the film, Swiss family Robinson, and was definitely disappointed with the change in the late 90’s to the Tarzan tree house, but I am certain he will enjoy this revival.

Glad to know it’s NOT going to be themed after a movie this time! I LOVE Encanto (like BIG time love it), but this will give the Imagineers a lot more freedom to create something original. I miss those aspects of the parks. 😢

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that Disney has to pay an estate a royalty for using the Tarzan IP and it’s maybe that reason that Disney doesn’t really promote Tarzan very much. Probably the same reason why Disney doesn’t promote the Star Wars original trilogy: money.

This just makes me feel that they are doing a remake of Swiss Family Robinson. If they are I think they are doing this attraction first so when there is a big craze they will have this attraction during that big craze

I just gasped at the concept art. It might be because I wasn't expecting a new attraction in the American parks to not have forced ip and just be cheap cashgrabs. The SEA connection also makes the whole thing so much better. This just gives me a bit of hope for the future of disney attractions

It’s honestly has always been one of my favorite stops whenever I was in the park. That even used to be where people could meet Tarzan up top. Which was so cool and made since. But that wasn’t something I ever got to experience personally.

When I had purchased my video camera and movie can along with it. It was Swiss Family Robertson's without sound.while my children grew up watching the started noticing different sense and laughed because it was rubber logs rolling down the mountain will fighting off pirates.

what does IP mean? and what is an S.E.A. attractions? as a child I adored the movie Swiss Family Robinson and absolutely fantasized about living in that glorious tree house. we went to Disneyland once a year growing up and always explored the tree house. As an adult I have taken my own kids just twice, one of those was this summer. I tried my best to be have fun and not let my disappointment show to my kids but it was so incredibly crowded it just wasn't fun. Don't know that we'll ever go back, my kids (12 &9) were like "meh" and would rather go to 6 Flags or Knott's Berry Farm.
