by putting all the plans on QCI8 it relieved alot of network congestion, so when you get the turbo add on you actually have more priority than like 99% of the other users and it makes a huge difference. notice the non turbo line slow down when the turbo line kicked up. because priorty actually matters and is huge.

I work for AT&T, and while it stinks they dropped a tier down to add the feature, Verizon and T-Mobile took a different approach by letting you choose their lower cost UNL plans but run a LTE network, whereas their most expensive ones are 5G, we've always gave you 5G without making you pick the highest plans. *This comment is of my own opinion and views, not that of AT&T*

@@udiealot that’s definitely not true. T-Mobile gives access to 5G on all plans. Just that lower tier plans give you a certain amount of GB of priority (usually 50GB) and then deprioritization kicks in. While Go5G Plus and Go5G Next give you unlimited priority data.

Nice! I'm assuming FirstNet still has priority over this Turbo function though, right? From my knowledge, FirstNet is QCI 6 and Turbo would be QCI 7.

I think i know how he did 69tb of data, he probably used a vpn and then use torrent program to download lots of movies and tv shows to an external portable hard drive :)

I really don’t think turbo is worth it for $7 but if you need it sure, great video los! And I think every carrier should give best plan customers highest priority but ok!

Turbo is making more of a difference than I thought! Do you know if it has more priority than the Los Blue lines or about the same? Ive been hearing people mention QCI 7 for Turbo but would be interesting to test that out for sure.

Naw bro biz enterprise still has better access to QCI but for old consumer qci 7 vs now with turbo it’s better for sure

Look I love AT&T, but what they did by retroactively taking away QCI 7 then charging a fee to get it back was kinda lame. They still have a robust network in my market so the real world difference isn't that much of a difference but I find my new combo being T-Mobile + Verizon lines. T-Mobile for their capacity that is well deployed then Verizon for coverage and capacity where T-Mobile is bad. Verizon has the right idea right now by build out a network that will have as much capacity as needed instead of trying to ration out the limited bandwidth that the midband portfolio has to offer and I say this because AT&T rationale about doing this was seeing increased usage on their network.

Is the old Unlimited Elite with Max still unlimited priority or it’s capped and deprioritized? There’s no wording in the app but I noticed they removed the wording “Unlimited data”, yet on my wife’s plan they bumped her to Unlimited Extra EL and it says 75gb cap.
