NEW BIKE DAY!! my new Downhill 3D Printed Bike [VLOG]

Creating your own new bike is a next level feeling.... I filmed at Atherton Bikes glueing (bonding) my BRAND NEW DH bike... using adhesive and 3D Printed Lugs and Carbon Tubes, we assembled my new frame.... the frame that I was supposed to ride just before I snapped my achilles tendon!
BUT.... DISASTER!!
I somehow LOST the SD Card @GoPro with all the footage on!!!! I have LOST the best footage I've ever filmed!
I was so upset, but I managed to put this video together and I will re shoot another frame assembly because it is just SO COOL!

To demonstrate the customisability of this new fabrication method, you should make a one-off competition trails bike frame, and send it to Ali Clarkson for testing. Glad to see the crowdfunding going so well, can't wait to see you guys grow. Stay forever rad Rach!

That's a great idea - Guaranteed Ali would have some ideas on geometry tweaks to get the bike to suit him perfectly. Maybe a built in version of his homemade chain tensioner too.

@@peglor tbh I was thinking more just for strength and durability testing. If a fabrication method can stand up to trials, then it can take anything, DH included. I think that geo would be less important for a one off non production frame. It was more just the concept. But yes, I'm quite sure that as a team, the Athertons and Ali could make some wicked new comp fames
