Actually car engines are assembled afresh and there is no lubrication there in between the metallic moving parts. So the engine will initially have a more fuel consumption until the time the engines moving parts are properly lubricated. So a car needs to be driven atleast 2000 to 5000 km before this fuel efficiency is achieved. So this knowledge can also help people know why the starting mileage is less.

Actually the best way to measure is to divide how many km you drove after refuel by how many litres of petrol you filled and then you will get your accurate fuel economy

I'm worried about Part wear n tear in Nexon, is there a fit & finish issue with Tata Nexon, seeing few complaints regarding the glass cracking, coolant pipe rupture and engine seizures? Is it a big concern?? Pls advise

sir maine nyi tigor petrol xz li thi jo abhi 1400 km chli h. mere experience se gaadi ki abhi overall efficiency 22 se uppr h. abhi fridabad gya tha Bhiwani se total trip 360 ki thi mujhe avg 25.5 ki mili without AC. m acc bahut slow use kr rha hu abhi. tigor maine aapke review dekh k he li thi. bahut hi achi car h. excellent built quality with average.

Ravi Ji Namaste! Maine Wagon R ZXI Amt li thi Sept 2019 mei. Tab yeh pehle pehle mileage barh ke 16 kmpl tak hi deti thi. Maine 15k km tak chalane ke bad bhi 16 kmpl hi maximum deti thi. Tab maine mera engine oil jo ki 0w16 Maruti ka oil tha use change karke Castrol Magnatec 0w20 grade ka full synthetic dalna start kiya. Maine coolant bhi badal kar gadi mei fresh coolant dala. Main normally har week ke bad mera air filter clean karta hoon, pehle bhi karta tha. Ab mera mileage pichle 2000 km se consistently 19.1-19.3 kmpl a raha hai. Dhanyawad.

aap to kamaal ke insaan ho bhai.. mera bhi yahi prblm tha.. filhaal 2saal hue car leke lekin milege ka issue tha hi chahe highway pe chalalo ya city me 16..17 se upar gaya hi nahi tha.. jitna ho sake utne pyar se chala leta hu lekin fir bhi milege ka tensn tha ab muze pta chala ke ye jo show kr rha tha wo total wala tha.. thank you sooo muucchh.......

Great...That much mileage from a petrol car is really impressive. I expected it to be around 18-20kmpl but 27kmpl is enough for a petrol engine.

Thanks for your valuable information's. Based on ur details I hv purchased Tata Tigor XZ(O) Petrol Version. Just wanted to ask you few things. 1) When the engine is on then how to use ONLY AC blower. Because when I'm switching off the AC, everything turns off and the moment Im rotating the Blower nob the AC starts automatically. When the engine is off then only the blower is working without AC. 2) on the AC nob there are two buttons - AC and ECON, and another is AUTO & Off as per my knowledge Econ is for economical fuel mode. but How AC is different from Auto Mode 3) Im from Kolkata and in City mode with AC on I'm getting 12.5 KMPL in actual (MID-14+), is it the right millage that I can expect.

What do you mean by milage depends on car driving style. While I drive car I make sure I shift gear as per shown in meter. But still my car shows 10 or 9 kmpl milage in city. I have Tata Tiago petrol. Please suggest.

Good demonstration. But just to tell, you already have a instantaneous fuel economy meter on your tigor, so besides that "average..." You have another option to check your mileage, don't you? And that is what you are telling people to focus on, ain't you. So there is no subtle need to set the trip to zero and then check your economy...I think!

Turbo k range me chalao at light throttle. Turbo k range k pehle around 2000rpm k niche hum shift krdete hai usse hume lagta hai average milega lekin ye galat hai, under 2000rpm car jyada struggle karti h uske vajah se hum jyada race krte h fir fuel efficiency gir jaati hai. As per my diesel driving experience since 5 years.
