Yes Louisiana girl. I am stalking this foundation. I am 65 years old with oil combo skin. Lines and wrinkles. The magic foundation was a bust for me. I have high hopes for this one. I used the CT shade match guide and I matched it to 5 foundations I already have and it gave me the same suggestion every single time so I went with what it recommended. Hope it works. Looks great on you!

I agree with your review. My favorite thing about this product is how transfer proof it is... I didn't think it would be great in that aspect. It might not work with some primers. The first time I used water cloud by cover FX, and it was terrible. The foundation clung to my lines, didn't do anything for my pores and I was really bummed about it. Gave it another try without primer and very little powder and bam... amazing!

This was the review that I was waiting for! This foundation looks amazing and so natural on you! I went ahead and made my purchase after your review. I had such a hard time picking a color. LOL! I figured there were like 3 that I could get by with on my skin tone. I also purchased the Magic Vanish corrector. I saw how effective the results were on Risa Does Makeup (found her through your recommendation). I can't wait to receive it! I was so mad I saw her video after I ordered my stuff b/c I totally missed that corrector! But I'm hooked on my Total Eye 3-in-1 which has the anti-aging benefits plus SPF that I like having right up by my eye area so it's probably just as well! 😂I'm glad my review helped! Hi! I usually don't follow your foundation suggestions but today I have to 100% agree with you about this gem from CT. I am 50 with extremely dry skin and I live in SoCal. I have found that my best way to apply is with Milk blur Stick for my pesky pores then my Sonja G foundation brush and lightly sweep it over my face. I will then set it with her Genius powder and it looks just as flawless as your application. Thank you for putting out fantastic content. I just got my ring light so I should be doing content very soon. Have a nice Labor Day Holiday ♥️

I like the natural lighting but it’s hard to see the coverage when you’re applying it unless you’re pulled in closer. But I’m also viewing on an iPad 🤷‍♀️. The foundation reminds me of IT CC. Cream which I’ve been trying and like although my oil comes through but not in a bad way. It gives you a beautiful glow! Thank you for this great review!

I’m so glad you used a minimal amount of product. Most folks seem to just pile on product in their videos! I’m still torn about this because even though alcohol is lower on the list, there’s still a few ingredients that can be irritating. Looks beautiful on you!

It looks gorgeous!! I think you used just enough. I’ve seen a lot of people put it on and it is total coverage like, wow! And that made me not so interested in it anymore but seeing you use it lightly I’m still interested!! I haven’t tried the magic foundation because I saw so many bad reviews. I am so glad you demoed it in natural light..i can definitely see a glow but, very pretty ..i don't see matt at all on any reviews of the Airbrush...i been confused with the color range, the nuetrals all seem to lean more warm/and or yellow🤔BUT I think your shade is very good and looks beautiful on you😊

I think I’ve cracked it! Instead of dotting the foundation on my face (although I only used a tiny bit) I did what you did and used the beauty blender to pick up the foundation from the back of my hand and dot it on my face and this gave a much smoother and more even coverage which DIDN’T emphasise any dry patches or pores. Thanks for that tip! I see that you will be reviewing the Kevyn Aucoin balm foundation. I have got this and tbh had a similar experience with that as the CT Airbrush. The way I solved that is to use the brush that comes with it but again to take a tiny bit on the end of the brush and not stroke it on to the face like I’ve seen some people do and really press on then buff in but to hold the brush really lightly and hardly use any pressure at all to buff it straight in. Again you hardly need to use any product so even though these foundations are expensive they should last ages!!

@@StephanieMarie Thank you for the suggestion. EL DoubleWear is still my favorite but I am chompin' at the bit to try something new. Years ago, (like 2003), I wore Elizabeth Arden Flawless Foundation, but have read they changed the formula. I remember how beautiful it wore on my skin. Reading foundation reviews on Sephora, Ulta, Macy's etc is so confusing! I am never sure if some people are too picky or being honest with their experience. But usually I end up more confused!😖 I will look into CT Magic foundation. Thank you for the suggestion! Even though you have a tendency towards oily skin, I appreciate mentioning alternatives for normal/dry.🌞

I was so excited to get this foundation and I received it two days ago and ever since I have been wishing I would have just ordered the hourglass stick foundation because this foundation drys down so much on my skin and sinks into my fine lines and makes them stand out, and I used the bare minimum and used my hourglasses primer . So I’m just going to send it back and get the stick foundation instead and I have normal to dry skin.

Please do help me ma’am. I am from a state in India where it’s humid and hot majority of the year. I also have combination skin throughout the year with super oily t-zone. I have to stay under the sun for more than 10 hrs during Major festivities. Please suggest if I’ll buy the CT or the Estée Lauder one to control oil and no touch ups.

Hi! I'm fairly new to your channel but I was wondering..With so many foundations coming out lately I feel quite overwhelmed. And not having pr or the money to try every one out I really feel lost. I have psoriasis but only a tiny patch is left under my chin, it this annoying dry patch. But I already have dry fair skin. So here's hoping you can steer me in the right direction. Please give me some advice on foundation,tinted moisturizers etc that may solve my problem. Thanks so much!

Thank you for the review. I got the new CT foundation in 8 cool, I like it but not sure about the color. I have the Magic foundation in shade 6 and it is a bit light for me. Can you please compare the color of Magic shade 6 and the new airbrushed foundation in 6 neutral? It seems the new foundation even in neutral pulls a bit olive. Thanks!

I'll be talking about that in my monthly favorites but they're pretty close with this one being easier to apply and a bit thinner....less of a learning curve. But get kind of satiny as the day goes on...CT does a bit more than EL. Thank you!

@@StephanieMarie THANKS SO MUCH!! Ive loved my EL for years but as I am getting older and have even more wrinkles, (argh!) I am needing a bit more moisture and "slippage" to a foundation. SOunds like maybe the new CT might be a great option! Ill make sure to watch your update video. Thanks Stephanie

I decided to watch this one a bit. I thought the shade descriptions were a hard read on her site, rather get a sample @ Sephora & check reviews. Hey, I did try the Dior Body finally. So beautiful! Thanks for the recommendation. My face was slightly burning....I may have to wear it a few times, see if my skin can tolerate. Darn those fragrances & particular alcohols. I got a shade deeper than normal & was a little nervous. My girls complemented the fact my head matched my body! Good summer shade. ;)

I'm glad you like the look of the Dior! Have you tried a primer underneath to see if it helps place a barrier between? Maybe that will help? That's awesome the shade does so well! I also check reviews and google vs relying on Sephora and brand sites for shade matching. I've had really bad luck with shade matching that way! Thank you!

@@StephanieMarie Thanx 4 the tips! I did that 2day & it was great! I couldn't believe that even after a work out & late into the evening, looked pretty much the same as when I put it on! Tiny bit dewy in spots but pretty! I think the reaction may have been from a powder I was using more than the foundation. Did some testing. ;) This is a good one.

Very interesting review. How is the overage compared to the original It CC cream - the one and only? Please give us a little hint of how you compare these two.

They both cover well but are totally different types of foundations. :)

Please let me know what you get matched to. I'm 2N1 as well. Need to mix 4&5 in her magic foundation. Worried I won't find a match - and it's only getting released in Ireland this coming weekend.

Very helpful for deciding - I still haven’t tried anything Charlotte Tilbury - I’m dying to get the Hollywood Flawless Filter. What shade do you use? Have you tried the new Estée Lauder Radiant concealer? I love it more than the original - it’s thicker, and seems to work better on me patting it in with fingers - a sponge almost lifts it off on during the second “dot”. I’m curious what you will think of it. You know the struggles. I wanted to mention (from your livestream when you mentioned you lost 2 pounds in a week) I realized that 2 pounds is 10% of 20, which is awesome! Keep us updated. I’m trying to eat more healthy, less processed foods and less sugar, since sugar breaks down collagen.
