I thought the "Doll Eyes" add-on was pretty good, because if you haven't realized; every time you vault through a pallet or a window, your dash attack timer resets completely as if you just started it. Knowing their exact locations (for those who hasn't mastered the map) could be really useful to use those obstructions to advantage and just have an immensively large dash! :0

If you notice, the ghost is actually always there and you're always looking from his perspective as killer, you just can't see him most of the time

sadly with the licensing situation we’ll never get og krueger, i do wish they’d revisit & give him voicelines though 😭 even small ones like “remember me” when he emerges from generators, “you’re my number one” when interacting with the obsession, “how’s that for a wet dream” when a survivor steps in a blood pool 😭 the potential is there. why the devs barely ever touch the nightmare chapter is beyond me, even freddy’s model was never updated when quentin’s was and his eyes are still glued stuck. looks so weird. AND for some reason his sweater is red & black instead of red & green…just sad all around 😔

I personally hate the idea of giving all these killers voice lines, it removes a lot of atmosphere for me. It was fun when it was like, a Pinhead exclusive thing or with Nemesis saying “Stars” when pulling Jill out of a locker but now its just irritating for me

Close, but I still think the fact that they added "literally just Nicholas Cage" to the game was more out of left field than this. As silly as Chucky is, he was at least nominally a character from a horror IP.

I couldnt agree more. Dbd has been making me feel ecstatic. First a Stranger things is back, which i really wanted the survs and demo. And now the killer that i most wanted to come to dbd.

Don't speak on behalf of everybody, i personally expected more from this chapter, Predator/Vecna or something more scary looking or at least have an interesting power but instead we get a doll that's basically a budget Victor that can't be kicked even though it's a licensed killer. Otz won't say anything negative about this chapter since he's a fog whisperer like every other Dbd content creator but the audience like me can .. and to me he looks underwhelming like a meme killer of some sort.

@@lazlo686 Unless theyve chnaged Freddy very recently, thats exactly the issue with Freddy, you have to be braindead to lose to him, on top of that, his addons are all pretty much useless and hes just really boring to play. The implementation of voicelines which have profanity for Chucky shows that they're willing to have profanity in the game, so I see no reason why Freddy shouldn't get some voicelines of his own since hes so well known for his iconic voicelines, similar to Chucky.

What’s a cool detail is that you’re actually playing in first person from Chucky’s spirit’s perspective, it’s just he’s not visible all of the time. The Chucky doll is running in front of the camera so it gives the eye a good trick to think you’re in third person. The pick up animation best displays how the spirit model and doll model interact, when the spirit picks up the doll and the first person very clearly takes over. So clever, kudos to the dev and creative teams!

Crazy year for dbd, singularity is W killer, then we got Nicolas Cage himself in the fog, then comes Alien which is possibly the best chapter in the game, after which we get Naughty bear, after which we get the much loved stranger things back just to realise chucky will be the next killer in the game

Ehhhh don't get me wrong I love child's play and it doesn't get as bad as Texas chainsaw sequels did, but 3 seed of chucky and curse weren't too great Plus the reboot with Mark hamil Other than that I'm insanely hyped to play chucky in this one of my top 3 horror movie killers Now that think about it though you are right 3 bad movies isn't too bad 😅

@asrieldreemurr1918 Yes. At a pallet. This means you can't see anything as the killer is kicking the pallet, so you just have to run a direction and hope you run the right direction.

Pair that with Enduring and Spirit Fury, and you got yourself a free hit right there.

@panicwolf8586 End fury is already a free hit most of the time. This about halfway where it gives you an advantage in a chase and encourages survives to cleanse totems so you can use Pentimento.

The doll factory from the movies really spooked my bones as a child. When the dude gets knocked onto the conveyer belt and the dolls eyes crammed into his really got me.

I'm kind of having mixed feelings about them adding Chucky, I mean I won't dismiss him as a killer but when your holding out hope as I have for two certain killers to be added to DBD who are possibly perfect for the game and already have fan made perks and such, you just don't know how to feel when they choose someone else over them.

I still think Alien is the best one but I’m excited for Chucky

@@EmporerAaron While choosing is part of it, they are also restricted on what they can get the rights/licenses for. If they can't get the rights to put the killer in the game, doesn't matter if they want it in or not.

@@zashen1855 Yeah fair enough, though when it comes to licensing you'd think it would be easy to acquire, who knows it might bring attention to certain franchises people never even heard of and therefore brings good things there way.

@@EmporerAaron Completely agree. There are definitely some licenses that are much easier to acquire than others due to the creators being pretty open. Unfortunately, some creators just don't care to license out their characters, which can be a shame to some people like us who do want to see them in other areas of entertainment, like video games. Behavior has done a fairly good job at acquiring quite a few licensed characters though. Hopefully more people are willing to work with them to get their characters into the game! Chucky was definitely a surprise to me because I thought he might be a difficult license to acquire.

The original creator decided to release a TV series that has adult Andy involved pretty majorly, so it's not a surprise that they wouldn't want to have him trapped in the fog forever. It's fine for Chucky himself to be in the fog because he found a way to split his soul into multiple dolls in Cult of Chucky, so it could be one of those.

I think Andy was kind of an adult in the third one? He might not have been 18, but he was in the ROTC or something. Haven't seen it in years. Old Andy would be fine. Maybe in a future update.
