I loved this part of the story, it added a new element to things. And Also, Chief Accidentally Calling her Cortana, really just shows how much he misses her

Somone else said this so I can’t take credit. But it seems that Chief got so emotionally worked up that he called the weapon Cortana rather than saying Cortana was the problem.
