New Craft Day Unboxing with Journal Cover Ideas! 

You have some creative ideas for covers Possum Patty. The only thing I can think of is making a cover from basket making items. I made some baskets before (my previous neighbor taught me and some others), and if you used the reeds, which come in different sizes it would make a really pretty one. You can dye them any color you want and mixing the colors would be cool!! You may have done basket weaving before, and if so, you know what I mean. The more I think about it and look at the basket sitting here that I made, which part is done with bigger reed, then smaller reed, and then some round reed for the top!! You can creative with it and the different colors! Oh yeah! I think you might be able to sew the signatures into them too, or possibly go between some rows?? Okay, that's all I got!! Your talking about weaving one got me to thinking about the basket weaving I guess!! Blessings and bubbles Possum Patty!!

How about taking a small puzzle from dollar tree and using it for the cover, love the dragonfly!

Wonderful ideas, I am a huge fan of the fairy house journal and the mushroom one also, I am working on two journals now, just an idea, but what about a log cabin journal using bark or sticks, I know that would be beautiful ❤️ thank you for sharing

I like to make covers from waived paper strips (magazine or newspaper pages folded into chunky narrow strips). i like gluing napkin all over and painting it with acrylic paints, dry-brushing the lightest tone on top to show definition.

Wow! I'm kind of blown away by all the amazing journal cover types and also how many crafty things you do. I have a secret - I have had a weaving loom for about 11 years now and it's still in the box. :-( Sad, but true. Maybe you'll inspire me to get it out and use it! i really like paint by number, but, what a good idea to make it into a journal cover!. i bought a diamond painting. and i want to try and make it into a journal cover

My wife and i watch your videos and she thought it wood be cool to do a smooth pebble cottage cover and use bark and twiggs for the trees . We love the golden book journal. Blessings.
