Buy a Clio 172/182 if you need any advice message me as have a lot of knowledge of theses cars especially owning one myself, you would find a lot of people watch your videos on them as not many videos on fixing them on RU-vid

New exhaust sounds good, nice deep rumble but a little quieter, as an avid Vauxhall fan I would suggest a VXR Astra or Corsa if budget permits, or maybe an Astra or Vectra B GSi (I know a Vectra isn't strictly a hot hatch). Keep up the good work mate, looking forward to loads more quality vids

1. exhaust sounds great, love the grumble. my type of sound and loudness really. 2. i reckon it doesnt matter what you buy, as long as its interesting in some way, maybe slightly newer car with a few more issues.

The new back box is a great improvement sound wise. A few years back, I changed the exhaust on my previous car, and it had a little drone. Not happy I did some adjustments, that reduced the drone a little, but not enough. I changed the exhaust again and also adjusted front to back. Drone gone, plus car was back to almost silent at motorway speeds. A droning exhaust can be wearing on a long journey. A friend many years ago put a cherry bomb type exhaust on his Mondeo and regretted it, after doing a few long journeys.

A great upgrade again.

I have had 11 cars in the last year, done little bits to them and sold them...ignore all the haters, you will always get them mate...but I'm interested in buying the Astra if the price is right...I've just bought a Pug 307 XSi 2 litre turbo diesel, the 136 version, and it's a fantastic and quick car

I'm 31 and love a loud exhaust. Although as I've grown older it has to sound nice and just be loud. I remember the mk4 astra coupe I had was so droney I hated it gave me a headache.

How much for the hornet 3" mate? Would love that for my vauxhall combo van. Currently have a 2" exit cherry bomb and it's not throaty enough for me on boost. Would need posting too as I'm miles away in West Midlands.

mate now its best sound ever. The rest exhaust(except the muffler) is stock?? i mean do you have the stock middle silencer? I have the same car, about the same muffler, the rest exhaust is stock but mine sounds a bit smoother than yours. Should i remove middle silencer?

Ever thought of getting a mk6 fiesta zetec s 1.6 tdci there really good fun cars and cheap to buy and there are loads of modifications you can do to them for pretty low money , I’d honestly love to see one of these on the channel and nice new exhaust mate

Well I'm 27 and got tuned exhaust on a Zafira A 1.8 but the overall car is slighty changed on visual side but I like it, and I do not feel embarrassed since it sounds pretty bad ass and nobody expects a minivan to sound like a sport car.

James, I know exactly where you're coming from. The exhaust that was on the Celica was so bad that I was loath to start the car. I replaced it with a stock exhaust which is a LOT quieter although my GoPro doesn't do it justice. That back box suits the Astra nicely and ticks all you boxes. You should get a BMW E36 to replace the Astra.

The new exhaust looks much better, and sounds much better too, if it was me looking for a new ‘project car’, I would definitely go for a Škoda Fabia, or Octavia VRS, I am biased due to being a dedicated Škoda enthusiast, however that aside, I think Škoda VRS models are not only very fast and reliable, they also look great!!.

Listening on my phone through ear phones it didn't sound massively different but did sound good and looked much better than the other one . As for suggestions on a new hot hatch project, why not go for the original hot hatch a VW Golf? It doesn't have to be be in even half decent condition, in fact as long as the bodywork is sound, the worse condition mechanically the better, as you could make it a long term restoration project and get a lot of great video content. Whatever you decide, good luck and I'm really looking forward to watching it.

Sounds louds better. Got A3 (S3 if you're going super hot) or Civic anything 03 onwards. The Civic, imo, probably has the best looking backend of the hot hatches. The triangular dual exhaust 👌

I’d recommend a clio 182, I currently have a clio 1.6 16v and it’s great. And I’ve heard lots of great things about the 182. They make great track cars

I'd say go for an Mk1 Octavia VRS. You can get them around the 1k mark and they're great cars to drive!

Exhaust sounds good and looks ok, think you need a focus st 170 to complete your collection! You have a zetec s and an st mondeo??? Surely an st 170 is the logical choice?? Plenty of good cheap ones around and future classic potential is there !

I prefer the second muffler 😁....🇨🇦 Here ....not sure what you should get as we dont have most of the models u got (Re: Vauxhaul and Fords)...except probably the Mondeo(Fusion in Canada) but get what u wanna get.... The exhaust sounds alot more suttle and i do prefer it. and if your interested in a good reliable hot hatch look at a mk4 golf 1.8t as it is easily modified ,cheap and the engine is practically bullet proof or even an st170 which Is basically a hatchback version of the Mondeo

Looks mint mate, i'd reckon get a Golf or a fiesta mk6.5 Zetec S or an ST if its in your budget, you can get MOT failures / high mileage on Autotrader for less than £1500. Some decent ones toward £2000.
