Nice haul. We got a few 15" black sea bass last year during the red snapper weekend out of Canaveral. I hadn't seen them that big in quite some time. That one at 20" is unheard of here.

Hey John, long time follower of yourself and Skinner. Just thought I would ask you if there is any possibility of just buying the blank of your new jigging rod. I make rods probably 15 for myself and friends. The problem is difficult to know how a rod performs until you build it. Always looking for a blank that has been created through a lot of trial and error to use in a build. I know that's would kinda be plagiarism of a lot of work by someone e else. Would of course be no competition to you production since would only make one or two rods. Thought I would ask and of course if you feel that would not be possible I understand. Fish Raritan bay and sandy hook area. Ok thanks John and yes I think you will enjoy some time of just recreational fishing vrs the charter business. Ok John hope you have a good fishing season....
