Hey just to let you know the reason the digital one feels heavier is not because of the prop guards (they do add a little bit) it’s because of the video transmitter which makes it around 20 percent heavier. That’s where the diffrence comes from. Hdzero is a bit less but still more than analog. Also to dodge the Wi-Fi interfearance you could use race and 8 or e8 because the frequency sits above Wi-Fi. This will give you a better signal on walksnail and analog and hdzero and even dji

Just a heads up...if youre looking at a 1s charger for this, rather than the flywoo charger, look up the whoopstor v3 1s charger...its only 12 dollars more and it does charging, discharging, storage charging, it charges bt2.0, a30, and jst connectors. Its the absolute best 1s charger and has all the functions while the flywoo charger only charges. Its doesnt do any of the other functions and its only 1p dollars cheaperbao its not a great deal. Just a heads up guys...plus the whoopstor v3 can use an ac plug, an xt60 for field charging, and a usb-c cable for the power supply. Its just the absolute best and its too cheap to pick anything else and its super high quality with premium materials ather than just clear plastic like the flywoo charger.

I was able to get the gemfan 2015 on mine. It's a little louder but also a little faster and a little more flight time. The blades go just above the circuit board.

i have the deadcat walksnail version its alright. LOTS of propwash. They powere it via VCC so its unfortante they didnt put a strong BEC on the fc becuase as the voltage loweres the bitrate becomes unstable above 200mw

DJI Racing Goggles? Those are old units designed for DJI, but I think they had an ANALOG component to them so if that is the case you'd have to get the ANALOG camera version.

He said he recommended to take this to a open field, but I'd recommend only a well manicured field like a school, i have several friends that lost their little micro drones cuz they are impossible to find in the weeds or tall grass and the motors are too small to hear them beep until your right on top of it

i always get florescent style props when im flying around the field out back around the farm .. if i ever loose a drone and the battery disconnects because of a crash.. i just walk back out when it starts getting dark with my UV torch and pop its extremely bright and visible i always set my disarm to 10mw on the video transmitter so it doesn't burn it out and iv had drones completely soaked thru i just dry them out give them a flux bath if they are muddy .. as long as its not sea water they are usually ok so long as you dry them out first a UV pens/ink are also pretty useful too i often completely colour my batteries in permanent UV ink because i cant be loosing a battery in a field we are growing food due to the chemicals etc last thing i want is all that in my mash potatos if i loose a lipo in the field and it bursts and leaks it into the dirt

which one is that? They all seem to be 1S now. I have a ton of little 2S batteries like this and i would really love to go one of these but i kind of liked the idea of the 2S versions that were just slightlyy bigger. How big are the props? I think it was a meteor 75 or a happymodel mobula and it was 2S with a super similar frame and FPV canopy. It was a frsky spi version.. I love the fact that they have a CRSF version for something this small. Would be perfect to go with my Tango 2

Hello enjoy all your videos especially with drones and r/c cars. Excellent. I just got my new mini 3 pro drone and have flown it a few times with no issues, but recently I’ve noticed the background on the remote (with screen) is too bright. I’ve tried adjusting the brightness but it’s still the same. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do ? Appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks

Yes and No. Yes, anything can be done in the FPV hobby, but NO, it is not worth it for the benefit you would get as the entire weight of this micro drone with power is designed for as it is.

I have not flown the drone you speak of. X frame is for FREESTYLE and DEADCAT is for FILMING (those are the distinctions in general of all FPV drones).

Hey Steve. I actually bought a Bugs 20 EIS based off your review a few years ago. This look more exciting however I'm confused on the variety. Are the FR16's xframes and DC16's dead cats? Also curious as to what the receivers are, is that in correlation to what headset you have?

Correct about the frames. Receivers are the items in every RC hobby product (cars, boats, helicopters, planes, drones). The item in your hand that has the joysticks is called a TRANSMITTER (some call it a Radio or Controller). The transmitter sends signals to the RECEIVER. So you always ensure the Receiver in the product you buy is compatible with your Transmitter.

Nope. For the DJI Goggles to work V2 or Goggles 2 or Integra, you need a DJI Camera & video transmitter in the drone. Such units from DJI are much to large for a tiny drone, so you won't see super tiny DJI compatible drones.

Hello my friend. Very nice and informative videos! Gratz! I would like to ask you a few things if you don't mind answering me - would be cool. I'm pretty new to FPV and practicing in simulator for now. And want to ask your honest opinion on a Radio(controller) and a tiny drone for indoor and small backyard fly/practice. I'm looking up for a Radiomaster TX12 MKII with hall gimbals or a Radiomaster Boxer. I saw a few reviews and didn't notice a huge difference, but the price is like 50-70% more on Boxer witch at this point is money I would spend on some batteries/charger/props etc. and will upgrade my setup in future if when i commit enough :-) Also ofc to be compatible for some future drones. Also looking for analog drones since I got analog goggles from my friend(no need to buy). What would you suggest, they look the same to me but you probably notice difference. Something like Mobula7, Meteor75pro(betafly), FireFly16(flywoo), WhoopFly16(sub250) or may be something else.(also i see the battery connectors are different, which are more in use so I can use batteries of the drone with future drones) Looking forward to "hear" from you. Thanks in advance!

I would say that before you get yourself a BOXER radio that you buy yourself a RTF FPV Kit. I have a review of a nice one that you'll see on Friday on RU-vid. It is Analog, has a tiny whoop with brushless motors, nice ELRS radio and goggles that record video, all for around $259 US which is a good deal.

The think is I have a dvr goggles already, so 2 pairs of same style/type/pricepool won't be too much, also the radios in Kits won't be a good one and will need a change pretty soon isn't it? @@Braincho FCC and EUROPE are different regulations with regards to range. If you live in NORTH AMERICA you get FCC, if you live in EUROPE you get EUROPE. Each radio has a different chip and is designed for a person who knows what they are doing in the hobby. So the people that buy the 4-IN-1 radio have a drone with a receiver that is compatible with it. My advice is that you really need to do some research before you buy anything or else you'll never figure out how everything works together.

I just purchased this drone in the analog version and ELRS. I’m having some trouble binding. What is the bind procedure? And what firmware was the nano baby v2.0 shipped with? My transmitter is running ELRS 2.8. You’re help is much appreciated!! Happy flying

Your version of ELRS on the drone you purchased is written on the box it came in. Binding is per the normal ELRS binding procedure. Have you bound to an ELRS drone before?

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 yes, typically there’s a bind tab in betaflight. But with some of the newer drones there is no bind tab in betaflight and I usually can plug and unplug 3 times to get the receiver into bind mode.

@@devinlloyd6044 bind tab in Betaflight is only for SPI ELRS and this version is not that. The power on off 3 times is the solution for certain. Do it, and on the 3rd power on, then press BIND under EXPRESS ELRS on your radio.

So does anyone still make any tiny drones like this or even this one but in a 2S version and maybe the next size up like a 75 or 85?? Looks super fun, im just wondering if the 1S power will make it alittle underpowered outside and even with the prop guards. And since the digital system looks attached to the ESC/RX board than it probably cant be upgraded either. Or should i just forget about all that and just get this one with 1S? I have a 5" freestyle drone. I just want something that i can use like this basically lol. Inside and outside.

I just placed an order for a Mobula 8 ELRS, for exactly the reasons you stated. It will use 1S and 2S. I got a pair of 2S 650s. The wind blew my APEX VR70 into a tree and afaik, it's still up there!

@@frogsoda Nice! I actually ended up picking up the Mobula7 1S ELRS about a week after i posted that lol. I got the ELRS version also its really good with range its crazy. It really is the way to go With the 1s LiHV batteries the Mobula7 actually has some punch and plenty of power to fly in high winds, its not as fun but it can do it ive tried it lol. Its actually a super fun little drone. I love it, its easily one of the drones i fly the most bc you cna just use it anywhere and have fun. The 4 1s batteries on the 4s charging board they give you takes like 30 mins tops and then you have 4 more batteries ready to go. With 2x 4-pack boxes of GNB batteries, so 8 total i can bring my little Q6 Nano charger and 1 or 2 6s drone batteries for the charger and be able to charge the 1s batteries, 4 at a time multiple times at max speed and even more if just alittle lower. So you get that good range from Elrs, but also from 400mw OpenVTX, which has been rock solid for me and it can fly in between parking garage levels and everything its really a fun tinywhoop. Plus it is super durable. Ive crashed that thing more than i can remember at this point, and all I do is flip turtle mode on if i need it and away i go lol.. I was thinking of buying also buying a Mobula8 ELRS for having the 1s-2s, but i decided im going to build a custom tinywhoop, on one of the V4 frames, get a nice AIO, nice motors, nice camera/canopy setup, and get it to run 2s-3s to be a ripper lol..

I only review the DJI Drones that I buy. I have a DJI MINI 2 and it has been in many reviews, so certainly would not need the lesser Mini 2 SE. If I was a DJI only channel (like 99% of the DJI channels you see on RU-vid), then DJI would send me the DJI Mini 2 SE for me to promote it. But since I review EVERYTHING in the RC hobby, DJI does not send me items because I am causing their potential buyers to spend money elsewhere. DJI only sends products to DJI RU-vid channels.

Flight time is indicated. No one mentions Range for FPV drones because it is up to the pilot and their gear? I’m guessing you are very new to the FPV hobby.

Do you know which FPV drone you purchased? What receiver is in it? Is the camera Analog, Walksnail, HD Zero? Do you know what FPV goggles you have?

Got mine recently. Less power and less fling ability. Both still fly good tho. Imo tune out of the box a little bit loose but fine tune it and you will have 1s pocket ripper

I have the FR s1 version and it's really silent and it makes alot less noise than the baby nano V2. ( I have that one as well)

@@wica6145 That's good to know thanks. How loud is the 1s in comparison to the 2s? Are they similar or would you say the 1s is a little quieter. I own the Nano 20, and it's really quiet, but I live in an area with pretty small yards. So if the 1s is even slightly quieter, I'm thinking of getting it.

It produces less noise. Nano 20 produces more noise since it uses biblade props and spin faster due to higher power

That looks like SO much fun! What are the rules for FPV flying without being able to see the drone with the naked eye (I think with bigger drones, you have to maintain visual contact or whatever)?

Rules in most countries (at least mine) are based on weight.... so a tiny drone like this is not covered by rules since it is considered insignificant.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Sorry but in the USA that is not at all true. All the rules apply, you just don't need to register. (in USA) Also, line of sight still applies for recreational pilots in the USA, but I don't think most worry too much about that rule, especially with a nano drone.

LOL... I imagine someone from the FAA watching this video and having a nervous breakdown lol. With all the flying over moving vehicles and people. Yeah it's a tiny little drone but apparently that doesn't mean shit to the FAA unless they actually classify it themselves. Me personally I think the FAA should f'off out of drones and only involve themselves minimally. Not a fan of big gubermint lol.

Ive upgraded mostly to the dji o3 system. I'm really contemplating getting into walksnail googles to get the ability to have fun with some small quads! Has anyone out there been in this same situation? Is it worth getting into walksnail??

If you want tiny quads with full HD, it is the way to go, simply because the digital 1080p is recorded within a chip on the drone (and you can download it) as well as in the goggles. Tiny drones are pretty much harmless so people tend to fly them in more common areas.

Question - would the Digital versions work with the DJI V2 Goggles and DJI Transmitter? Just curious - or would I need to purchase new goggles and a new transmitter?

The digital version is WALKSNAIL DIGITAL or HD ZERO DIGITAL. Those are very different technologies then DJI so not compatible. Just remember this… DJI ONLY works with DJI.
