At first I thought the lack of V6 engine option would be the downside, but I now see that the 4 cylinder is enough. That sliding style bar is a win for me. What's cooler than that...

Currently driving a Ranger Raptor Gen 1 with basically the same 2.0L engine, and can't complain. Very reliable, no failures. Now I'm thinking of ordering the Wildtrak X. Sadly, the new 3.0L Diesel is not available in the X, only the Wildtrak, but other than that, no issues. Great review, or better impression. Thanks!
I've had the privilege of having both a Ranger and an Amarok, hands down I'd choose an Amarok times over, nothing beats it in comfort and fuel consumption. I hope he gets to review it at some point
In terms of differences in the front-end, the Wildtrak X has a Ranger/wildtrak badge on the bonnet, whereas the normal wildtrak has nothing, just above the grill. There's that tiny orange strip below the number plate, the wildtrak X comes with high-performance Matrix headlights, and if you look closely, just next to the headlights between those two bars on the grill, you'll notice that those are LED lights and not just black detailing. On the inside, you'll find that the seats are not in full leather on the X just like they are on the normal wildtrak. There's that swaid/Alcantara like material. It's hard to recommend it to anyone... A Ford Ranger XLT 2.0 Bi-turbo 4x4 is by far the best pick if you don't need that 3.0 V6.

The difference are 1. Front bumber 2. Side steps 3. Roof rack 4. Wheels 5. The wildtrak X does not have a lower front splitter like the normal wildtrak

The Wildtrak X is a great double cab😌✨. But there's juss one thing I don't like about it when compared with the normal Wildtrak, it doesn't have the V6 engine🙄
Great Video Muzi can i ask that when you do cost of ownership consider the maximum balloon, higher rates and longer terms, im saying this because its the reality out there, n one is getting below or equal to prime, most of us are on Balloon payment as well.

The major difference is the Matrix LED headlamps. This WildtrackX is the only model that comes with them apart from the Raptor. and that's only in SA in other countries the headlights are in all top models, Ranger and Everest, not even the Platinum.
